Subham OTT Release Date Confirmed: When and where to watch Samantha Ruth Prabhu's Telugu horror comedy online

Subham OTT Release Date Confirmed: Samantha Ruth Prabhu recently ventured into production with this Telugu film, which was delayed online due to platform issues. Now the problem seems to have been resolved. After exiting the deal with ZEE5, Subham is set to start streaming on JioHotstar from June 13, 2025. What was the Subham OTT platform controversy? This fiasco began when Samantha's debut production, initially set to stream on ZEE5, faced a sudden pullback from the platform. Though a deal was in place for digital and satellite rights before the film's May 9 release, reports suggest ZEE5 tried to renegotiate the price post-release, allegedly due to changes in their internal strategy or reassessment of the film's commercial viability. This led to a fallout, with Samantha deciding to withdraw from the deal and turn to JioHotstar as the new streaming partner. Subham's cast and crew Other than Samantha in an extended cameo, Subham also stars Harshith Reddy, Gavireddy Srinivas, Charan Peri, Shriya Kontham, Shravani Lakshmi, Shalini Kondepudi and Vamshidhar Goud among others. Directed by Praveen Kandregula and produced under the banners of Tralala Moving Pictures and Kanakavalli Talkies, this Vivek Sagar musical is cinematographed by Mridul Sujit Sen. Subham's review The Times of India rated the movie 3 out of 5, and a part of their review read, 'Though the narrative sags slightly in parts, especially in the latter half, where some scenes feel repetitive, the film stays largely engaging with its witty writing and off-centre storytelling. Subham might not reinvent the wheel, but it coasts along with originality and an unapologetic quirkiness. Watch it for the setting, the satire, and a tastefully offbeat tale that doesn't take itself too seriously.' Do you think Subham will find its audience on OTT? Drop your thoughts @indiatimes.
