23 May 2025 19:11 ABU DHABI (ALETIHAD) Dr. Sultan Ahmed Al-Jaber, Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology, praised the vital role of TRENDS Research & Advisory in supporting national policy through knowledge production and strategic advisory services. During his visit to the TRENDS pavilion at the "Make it in the Emirates" Forum and Exhibition, he highlighted the centre's presence and the contributions of its researchers to the forum's concluded its participation as a knowledge partner in the four-day event held at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC). The centre's pavilion served as a comprehensive research platform, showcasing its latest publications and emphasising its leadership in youth empowerment, supporting sustainable industrial development, and informing pavilion attracted wide engagement from visitors and exhibitors, who expressed strong interest in the centre's high-quality research and diverse knowledge initiatives. It also welcomed several notable figures, including Sheikh Khalifa bin Hasher Al Maktoum, who praised the quality of TRENDS' output and its focus on nurturing young national part of its participation, TRENDS announced the upcoming second edition of the TRENDS Hub Award, which will focus this year on artificial intelligence and culture. 5 May 2025 14:17 ABU DHABI (ALETIHAD) A panel discussion organised by TRENDS Research & Advisory at its pavilion at the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair 2025 emphasised the importance of striking a balance between technological innovation and digital protection amid the rapid advancements in artificial intelligence (AI).The session was held as part of the launch and discussion of the newly released TRENDS publication "AI and Cybersecurity: Balancing Innovation and Security in the Digital Age," authored by H.E. Dr. Mohamed Hamad Al-Kuwaiti, Chairman of the UAE Cyber Security Council.
