23 May 2025 19:11 ABU DHABI (ALETIHAD) Dr. Sultan Ahmed Al-Jaber, Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology, praised the vital role of TRENDS Research & Advisory in supporting national policy through knowledge production and strategic advisory services. During his visit to the TRENDS pavilion at the "Make it in the Emirates" Forum and Exhibition, he highlighted the centre's presence and the contributions of its researchers to the forum's concluded its participation as a knowledge partner in the four-day event held at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC). The centre's pavilion served as a comprehensive research platform, showcasing its latest publications and emphasising its leadership in youth empowerment, supporting sustainable industrial development, and informing pavilion attracted wide engagement from visitors and exhibitors, who expressed strong interest in the centre's high-quality research and diverse knowledge initiatives. It also welcomed several notable figures, including Sheikh Khalifa bin Hasher Al Maktoum, who praised the quality of TRENDS' output and its focus on nurturing young national part of its participation, TRENDS announced the upcoming second edition of the TRENDS Hub Award, which will focus this year on artificial intelligence and culture. The award recognises cutting-edge research that reflects the UAE's leadership in innovation and technology, reinforcing the country's position as a global hub for knowledge also hosted a vibrant youth dialogue session titled "Emirati Youth: Shaping the Industrial Future", which sparked strong engagement and featured inspiring perspectives on youth empowerment, technological transformation, and the role of AI, entrepreneurship, sustainability, and smart planning in shaping the future of national centre concluded its participation by signing three new research cooperation agreements, reinforcing its ongoing commitment to expanding scientific collaboration and strengthening its network of strategic partnerships with both public and private entities.
