Darbhanga: ADJ-III-cum-special judge of MP/MLA court, Suman Kumar Diwakar, on Tuesday awarded two-year jail term and a fine of Rs1 lakh each to Alinagar BJP MLA Mishri Lal Yadav and his accomplice Suresh Yadav under IPC 506. Renu Jha, additional public prosecutor (APP) represented the prosecution side. According to Jha, one Umesh Mishra of Samaila village Under Keoti PS had lodged an FIR against the duo on Jan 30, 2019 stating that a day earlier while he was strolling in the morning, the duo along with other associates, started assaulting him.
