Discover clay techniques and wheel work at NSU's ceramics class
NATCHITOCHES, La. (KTAL/KMSS) – 'Playing in the Mud,' a ceramics class for beginners, will be hosted by Northwestern State University's Office of Electronic Learning and Global Education. 'This course is an introduction to working with clay. The student will learn hand-building and sculptural techniques, as well as work on the potter's wheel. There will also be room for intermediate and advanced students to take the class who want to use the facilities during class time. Those taking the class should wear clothes that can get dirty,' a press release stated. Summer Rock Camp at NSU: Learn instruments & perform The class will be held on Thursdays starting June 12 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. through July 17 in Room 113 of NSU's Fine Arts Annex. NATCHITOCHES, La. (KTAL/KMSS) — If you have the urge to rock, Northwestern State University has a program for you. NSU Theatre and Dance students land summer roles nationwide The Summer Rock Camp offers hands-on instruction in multiple instruments and disciplines. It features and provides electric guitar, bass guitar, keyboard, and drums along with singing help. The camp ends with a performance at the end of the week.
