Denver weather: Sunnier and warmer weather for the week ahead
DENVER (KDVR) — The upcoming Denver weather forecast is quiet for the week ahead.
The area will have mostly sunny skies and temperatures will be steadily climbing back into the 80s by the second half of the work week. Winds will remain gusty for the next several days, too.

Any showers left over from earlier storms will be ending overnight, but skies will remain mostly cloudy. Winds will be relatively light. Temperatures will be near normal values, maybe slightly above normal.
Meanwhile, snow will continue in the high country with several inches possible in some communities, and especially the higher mountain peaks.
Monday will be the coolest day of the new week with high temperatures only in the 60s. It will be mostly dry, but a stray shower may be possible around metro Denver in the afternoon.
The better chance for showers or storms will be in the far eastern and southeastern plains. It will also be breezy (again) with northerly winds gusting to 25 miles per hour or higher.
The long-range forecast is uneventful. Sunny skies will return Tuesday with highs around 70 degrees, but it will still be windy with northwest winds gusting over 30 miles per hour in some areas.

Temperatures climb into the mid-70s on Wednesday underneath sunny skies.
Highs in the 80s will return starting Thursday and continue into next weekend. Mostly sunny to partly sunny sky conditions are forecast. Although there may be a rogue shower now and then, generally dry weather is forecast through next weekend.
