Liverpool near Milos Kerkez transfer as Florian Wirtz contract details emerge
Liverpool have already signed Jeremie Frimpong, Giorgi Mamardashvili and Armin Pecsi this summer and are expected to wrap up deals for Florian Wirtz and Milos Kerkez soon Liverpool have enjoyed a busy start to the summer, with the Premier League champions already confirming a number of incomings and outgoings. Jeremie Frimpong and Giorgi Mamardashvili have officially made the move to Anfield, while young goalkeeper Armin Pecsi has also signed. Trent Alexander-Arnold has left for Real Madrid and Caoimhin Kelleher has been sold to Brentford and several more deals could be confirmed in the coming weeks. The Reds are keen to build on Arne Slot's impressive debut campaign and have plenty of money to spend. Florian Wirtz is on the verge of joining from Bayer Leverkusen and Bournemouth left-back Milos Kerkez is also expected to sign, while the likes of Darwin Nunez, Federico Chiesa and Andy Robertson could all depart. Kerkez has been heavily linked with a move to Anfield and Bournemouth have already signed his replacement, having confirmed the capture of Adrien Truffert from Rennes on Monday. "It's only Liverpool for us and we're not going anywhere else and we won't talk to other clubs," Sebastijan said on Super Indirektno. "Everything is done between us (personal terms) we just need to sort out some details but it's basically a done deal." Wirtz contract details Florian Wirtz is set to have his medical this week ahead of a bumper move to Liverpool that could be worth up to £116m if certain add-ons are met. Wirtz has agreed a five-year deal which runs until the summer of 2030 that will make him one of the club's highest paid players. Sky Sports have reported that Wirtz will earn a base salary of £195,000 per week. However, that could rise to £245,000 if certain bonuses are triggered, meaning he is set to earn almost 12 times what he was being paid at Bayer Leverkusen. Liverpool consider sales According to the Athletic, Liverpool are open to selling both Darwin Nunez and Federico Chiesa this summer. Nunez struggled for form last season, managing just seven goals in 47 appearances across all competitions, and has been linked with the likes of Napoli, AC Milan and clubs in the Saudi Pro League. Chiesa, meanwhile, made only four starts in all competitions last season after making a cut-price move from Juventus over the summer and he has been heavily linked with a return to Serie A.

A major update on Milos Kerkez's move to Liverpool has been provided by the AFC Bournemouth left-back's dad. Sebastijan Kerkez, who is also his son's agent, has revealed the switch is a 'done deal' as the summer transfer window has now re-opened. He scored twice and assisted five goals from left-back in his second season with the club, and is set to be rewarded with a move to the Premier League champions. The former Bournemouth defensive midfielder joined the Cherries' recruitment team when Eddie Howe was manager, before making the move to the Reds himself. His brother Marko shared a post on his Instagram story suggesting that a move should be over the line sooner rather than later. Meanwhile, there has also been a clue dropped by Liverpool star Dominik Szoboszlai, who had a cheeky reply when asked for an update by Hungarian media.
