Tencent's Supercell Mobile-Game Division Posts 77% Gain in Sales
Supercell Oy, the Finnish video-game company behind such hits as Brawl Stars and Clash of Clans, is delivering big gains for parent Tencent Holdings Ltd. despite a difficult market for mobile play,
Its six titles generated almost $3 billion in sales in 2024, up 77% from the year before, Supercell said Tuesday. Earnings rose similarly to more than $900 million before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization. The company is required by Finnish law to report results annually.
