Confidence is really sexy, says Heidi Montag
Heidi Montag thinks confidence is "really sexy". The 38-year-old star believes self-confidence "goes a lot further than people think". Speaking to Us Weekly, she explained: "Confidence is really sexy, and it goes a lot further than people think. [It] radiates from the inside." Heidi is set to release her long-awaited new album, 'Heidiwood', later this week, and she's described the record as "sexy". The reality TV star - who released her last album, 'Superficial', back in 2010 - shared: "I've been working on it for a year, and it's just that fun, sexy, escape pop album that I feel like everybody's needing right now. So each song is a bop." Heidi grew up in the small ski town of Crested Butte in Colorado - but she always thought she was destined for stardom. Heidi - who has been married to Spencer Pratt since 2008 - recently told The Independent: "It was a smaller version of Aspen that was more exclusive. "Dolly Parton came there, [as did] Madonna and Michael Keaton and all these really big producers, so whenever celebrities came in, I just always felt this wind of significance and fate for myself." Heidi believes she's always been destined for Hollywood and for success. The blonde beauty - who rose to prominence as a cast member on 'The Hills', the MTV reality series - said: "My mom always jokes that I was in a hot pink Barbie Ferrari one minute with my fake fur coat, and then next, I had a backwards hat on and I was playing in the mud. I've always had two parts of myself and I felt 'called' for Hollywood and for success." Heidi has actually been inspired by Jennifer Lopez, observing that it's possible to be "hot and fit and older and timeless". Asked if she's the most confident she's ever been, Heidi recently told Us Weekly: "Yes, especially considering my age. "I can't really compare myself to when I was 20, lifting weights and having a perfectly flat stomach. I'm not going to have the same body, and that's OK. "I look at someone like Jennifer Lopez, and that makes me think you can be hot and fit and older and timeless."

Heidi Montag Revealed That She And Spencer Pratt Still Have To Pay A Mortgage On The Land Where Their Home Used To Be After They Lost Everything In The LA Wildfires
Back in January, Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag were among the Californians to lose their home in the devastating Pacific Palisades wildfire, with Spencer documenting much of his family's ordeal on both Snapchat and TikTok at the time. For reference, the couple share two children, 7-year-old Gunner and 2-year-old Ryker. Spencer filmed the flames coming closer and closer to his family's home, and tried to make light of the situation once they decided to evacuate. He filmed himself painstakingly wrapping expensive crystals as he joked to followers: 'All fun and games having a thousand crystals until you're packing them up because a fire's coming around the corner, let me tell you.' And he attempted to keep the mood upbeat as he left his house, sharing a video of his coffee machine as he said: 'One last coffee before the house potentially burns down.' 'You've been great, machine,' Spencer said to the coffee machine. 'I love you, I'll miss you; I can't carry you, though.' Related: Donald Trump's Apparent Baldness Is Going Viral In A New Photo Just two hours after Spencer, Heidi, and the kids vacated the property, Spencer revealed that he was watching their house burn down via its security cameras, which were linked to his phone. After this huge loss, Spencer made no secret of the fact that he was trying to make as much money as possible through social media to support his family, with the former reality star sharing hundreds of TikTok videos a day — and admitting in the footage that he was making all of them at least one minute long to be eligible for TikTok's Creator Fund. He also urged his and Heidi's followers to stream Heidi's 2010 album, Superficial, to earn them money, and fans were happy to oblige, with the album reaching No. 1 on the US iTunes album chart shortly afterward. In a new interview with the Independent, Heidi said that she and Spencer are unlikely to keep the plot of land where their home once stood, as she also revealed that they are still having to pay a mortgage on the remains. The family are currently living in a rental home in Santa Barbara, and Heidi doesn't think that they'll make it back to Pacific Palisades. 'They're saying it's gonna cost five million to rebuild the house that cost a third of that; we just don't have the finances, and I'm not sure we can keep our lot because you still have to pay a mortgage on it,' she told the publication. 'I'm not sure what we're going to be able to do,' Heidi went on. 'I'm just trying to work as hard as I can, as much as I can, to be able to afford any type of house or down payment on something for our kids.' On Jan. 23, the LA Times reported that Spencer and Heidi were among the Pacific Palisades property owners to sue the city of Los Angeles and the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power over the damage caused by the fire, alleging inverse condemnation — a legal concept that gives property owners compensation for damage caused by public use. The couple, alongside more than 20 other people who were impacted, have said that the city's operation of its water supply, as well as its related infrastructure, is responsible for the damage to their homes. The complaint made specific reference to the fact that the reservoir that was supposed to service the area was emptied in early 2024, and remained empty ever since.
