IRELAND AM stars Muireann O'Connell and Tommy Bowe returned on air for "mayhem" WITHOUT their co-host Alan Hughes.
The Virgin Media hosts usually present the show together every Monday to Thursday at 7am until 10am.

Welcoming viewers, Tommy opened the programme saying: "Good morning to you, you are watching Ireland AM on Virgin Media One.

Muireann added: "We have a jam-packed show for you today filled with ministers, musicians and Met Gala mayhem… we'll call it mayhem."
Tommy complimented Muireann on her fashion saying: "You're dressed the part, fair play."
The Limerick native tried to dress on theme for the Met Gala, which was Superfine Tailoring Black Style.
Muireann looked gorgeous wearing black leather trousers, a black top, a black blazer and black pointed heels.

She joked: "I tried to tailor it guys. Dunnes Stores… not exactly like Kim Kardashian."
During the show, Muireann and Tommy sat down with the Minister for Education Colm Brophy, spoke about the Met Gala shocking looks and found out about the craze over nicotine pouches.
