Mitutoyo Increases Inspection Accuracy and Range with the Launch of New SurfaceMeasure-S Series SM0303S and 2929S In-Line Laser Sensors

The SM0303S and 2929S sensors join the SM1008S sensor to complete the innovative collection of line-laser sensors engineered for in-line inspection. Article content The SM0303S, is the high-resolution model in the SurfaceMeasure-S Series. It offers an accuracy of 9 micrometers and a resolution of 13 to 17 micrometers in the X direction. The 2929S features the series' largest field of view and working distance — 292 millimeters wide by 290 millimeters deep — while achieving a scanning accuracy of 65 micrometers.
