Suryavanshi's performance in IPL 2025
14-year-old Suryavanshi was signed for Rs 1.10 crore by Rajasthan Royals in the IPL 2025 mega auction. He made his IPL debut for Rajasthan Royals against Lucknow Super Giants in Jaipur on April 19, 2025, and scored six on the first ball he faced.
In his third IPL match, which was played against Gujarat Titans at Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur on April 28, 2025, Suryavanshi entered his name in the history books by becoming the youngest batter to score a century in T20s.
He crossed the 100-run mark in just 35 balls. By scoring a 35-ball century for the Riyan Parag-led side in that fixture, he also became the fastest Indian batter to score a hundred in the world's richest franchise cricket league.
