NTPC Korba wins 'Champion Award' for environmental sustainability
RAIPUR: NTPC Korba has received the "Champion (Outstanding)" award in the 'Environment Sustainability' category under the 'Power (Inclusive Renewables)' sector at the 19th EXCEED Environment, CSR & HR Awards 2025. The Sustainable Development Foundation (EKDKN), a non-governmental organisation, conferred the award. The Ministry of Environment, Forests, and Climate Change, Government of India, supported the event. EKDKN focuses on environmental protection, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), and human resource development. Hodeida workshop launches emergency protection response project
Hodeida - Saba: An introductory workshop was held in Hodeida province on Sunday to launch the "Emergency Protection Response" project, targeting vulnerable groups in al-Qanawis and al-Jarahi districts. The project is implemented by the Sustainable Development Foundation. The workshop focused on the project's objectives, implementation strategies, and methods to enhance emergency protection for vulnerable populations, adhering to humanitarian response standards. Participants also reviewed implementation plans and coordination mechanisms between relevant agencies to ensure effective service delivery. Representatives from the Sustainable Development Foundation Hani al-Shahedhi and Saba al-Maqrami explained the project's focus on providing emergency protection services to the most needy and strengthening support mechanisms to improve their conditions. Workshop participants emphasized the importance of collaborative efforts to ensure the project's success and enhance emergency response for the target groups.
