Amit Shah to visit Kerala on July 13
Union Home Minister Amit Shah will visit Kerala on July 13 to spearhead Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) preparations for the upcoming local body elections. Mr. Shah will address a meeting of ward committee office bearers from seven revenue districts of the State, according to BJP State general secretary M.T. Ramesh.
Mr. Shah will also inaugurate the party's new State headquarters during the visit. Speaking after a State leadership meeting held in Thrissur on Friday, Mr. Ramesh said the party aims to take the concept of a 'Developed Kerala' to the grassroots.
As part of the campaign, BJP will prepare a development roadmap for each ward. Ward-level meetings will be held from August 1 to 10, and on August 15, the party plans to organise 'Swabhimana Tricolour Rallies' across all wards.
