Swachhta Pakhwada: NTPC Ramagundam launches a fortnight-long campaign
NTPC Ramagundam and Telangana on Friday launched a fortnight-long campaign dedicated to promoting cleanliness and sustainable living.
The campaign forms the crux of the 'Swachhta Pakhwada' as part of the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan aimed at fostering environmental awareness and collective efforts towards a greener future. The campaign will conclude on May 31.
At a function held on the occasion at the NTPC township in Ramagundam, all the participants took the 'Swachhta Pledge' reaffirming their dedication to cleanliness and hygiene.
Later, the participants took part in a 'Safai Abhiyaan' contributing to the collective efforts to keep the surroundings clean, a press release said.
Later, the participants led by NTPC Executive Director (R&T) Chandan Kumar Samanta organised a 'Prabhat Pheri' from the main shopping complex to the main gate of the residential township.
