GT World Challenge America makes its way to Sonoma Raceway for action-packed weekend
The GT World Challenge America is coming to Sonoma Raceway.
The fastest sports cars in the world are set for a battle on the 12-turn road course in Sonoma, California.
The three-day race weekend will have two 90-minute doubleheaders. The GT World Challenge America is the premier series in the GT World Challenge Championship, similar to how the NASCAR Cup Series is the premier series in NASCAR.

There will be four support series running races throughout the weekend, including the Toyota GR Cup North America, GT America, Pirelli GT4 America and TC America. These are the GT3, GT2, GT3 and TC racecars and always produce a strong field.
The GY World Challenge America Sonoma race weekend runs from Friday, March 28 through Sunday, March 30 at Sonoma Raceway in Sonoma, California.
Each series will have two practices on Friday and two qualifying sessions on Saturday. The TC America series will run races on Friday and Saturday. The GT World Challenge America will run two 90-minute races on Saturday and Sunday, similar to how the IndyCar Series used to run two races in Detroit.
