Former Boy Bander, 32, Looks Unrecognizable In New Snap
The boy band One Direction blew up in 2010, thrusting the group into a Beatles mania-type fame. One Direction consisted of Louis Tomlinson,Harry Styles,Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, and the late Liam Payne. The guys quickly became teen heartthrobs, who were adored all over the world. Each hit song only increased the group's success and fans' love for Malik, Tomlinson, Horan, Payne, and Styles. In 2016, the band called it quits, and the guys went on to forge their own identities separate from the group. The other day, Malik took to Instagram to share a snap proving he's left his teeny bopper boy band days behind him. Now 32, Malik looked unrecognizable, sporting a full, bushy beard and a baseball cap that promoted the HBO show The Last of Us. Malik looked very serious as he posed for the picture. The Instagram post didn't have a caption, but that didn't stop fans from commenting on it. 'is this a secret message' one fan wondered because of Malik's hat choice. The hat had a different fan writing, 'AND HE LIKES THE LAST OF US?… marry me.' Other comments gushed over the former boy bander, proving that although One Direction may be no more, fans will always love the guys. 'I love it,' said a comment, while another one stated, 'my favorite trucker,' and a different comment declared, 'new ZELFIE on a ZUNDAY? please… i love you!' Malik may look a lot different than his One Direction days, but he's aging like a fine wine. Even with a full beard, the singer is on fire. 🎬SIGN UP for Parade's Daily newsletter to get the latest pop culture news & celebrity interviews delivered right to your inbox🎬 Former Boy Bander, 32, Looks Unrecognizable In New Snap first appeared on Parade on May 26, 2025
