Let's Get It: Jeezy Announces The ‘TM:101 Live' Tour, A Black Tie Symphonic Experience

Source: Michael Hickey / Getty This week (April 23rd), multi-platinum selling recording artist, New York Times best-selling author and entrepreneur Jeezy surprised fans by announcing TM:101 Live – a black-tie symphonic tour to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the RIAA 2x Platinum Certified Let's Get It: Thug Motivation 101 . Produced by Grammy and Emmy Award winner Adam Blackstone, the show will be conducted by renowned bassist & composer Derrick Hodge with the Color of Noize Orchestra and feature DJ Drama as a special off in Miami on June 27th, the 23-city tour will make stops in Atlanta, Baltimore, Chicago, Houston, New York and more before wrapping up in Detroit on September 12th. Tickets can be purchased at with a presale beginning on April 24th and general on sale starting on April 25th. Throughout the tour, Jeezy will be performing alongside a symphony orchestra, reimagining his iconic debut album with a classical twist. The tour announcement follows the success of Jeezy's 2023 sold-out show alongside the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra. To commemorate the 20th anniversary, Jeezy is also treating fans to a special 20th anniversary edition of Let's Get It: Thug Motivation 101 , exclusive merch and partnerships, community events and engagements, a custom built SiriusXM channel, immersive experiences, men's health initiatives and more. Let's Get It: Thug Motivation 101 , Jeezy's Def Jam label debut album, immortalized trap music and debuted No. 1 on the Billboard Rap and R&B Charts, as well as No. 2 on the Billboard 200. Garnering critical acclaim and regarded as a classic album, TM101 featured singles, such as the triple-platinum No. 1 hit 'Soul Survivor' feat. Akon and 'Go Crazy' feat. JAY-Z. The latest batch of metro Detroit concerts includes a host of shows on sale this week. (Many tours offer presale ticket opportunities; check individual show links for details.) R&B songstress Keyshia Cole is headed to Little Caesars Arena on July 10, part of a 25-date transatlantic tour celebrating the 20th anniversary of her debut album, 'The Way It Is.' Tink and Wale will open. On sale at 10 a.m. April 25 through Ticketmaster. One of the more unconventional tours of Jeezy's career will close out with a Sept. 12 Fox Theatre visit. The rapper's 23-city TM:101 Live outing will find him revisiting his 2005 breakout album, 'Let's Get It: Thug Motivation 101,' in a symphonic format. Jeezy will be joined by Derrick Hodges' Color of Noize Orchestra and guest DJ Drama. On sale at 10 a.m. April 25 through Ticketmaster. The reunited Britpop band Pulp will play its first Detroit show in nearly three decades when Jarvis Cocker and company hit the Masonic Temple Theatre on Sept. 17. We Came as Romans will wrap up the North American leg of their Bad Luck Tour with an Aug. 23 homecoming show at the Fillmore Detroit, with opener After the Burial and more. Detroit's genre-blending Kasan Belgrave Quintet will perform Friday evening to cap a Detroit Historical Museum screening party for the latest episode of 'Tales from the D,' hosted by Tino Gross and produced by Tony D'Annunzio. The new installment spotlights decorated Detroit sax man Dave McMurray. Tickets are on sale now at the museum's website or onsite. The Story So Far will alight at the Masonic Temple Theatre on Sept. 12 as the Bay Area pop-punk band hits the road with Neck Deep, Origami Angel and Pain of Truth in support. On sale at 10 a.m. April 25 through AXS. The annual 'Detroit X Detroit' show — with local artists covering classic hometown songs — will take over Ferndale's Loving Touch on Saturday. This year's two-stage edition will take on music made famous by Bob Seger, Stevie Wonder, the Supremes, White Stripes and more. Proceeds will benefit the School of Rock.
