New TNA Knockouts Tag Champions Crowned At TNA Sacrifice, NXT Team Appears
New champions were crowned at TNA Sacrifice, and an NXT team confronted them after the match. At TNA Sacrifice, Spitfire (Dani Luna and Jody Threat) put the TNA Knockouts World Tag Team Championship on the line in a handicap match against Ash by Elegance, Heather by Elegance, and The Personal Concierge. The challengers used the numbers game to their advantage, and Ash and Heather hit a double-team stomp for the win to capture the gold. After the match, NXT's Jakara Jackson and Lash Legend appeared on the stage and stared the new champions down to tease their interest in a title match. Spitfire were in their second reign as the champions; they won the titles at TNA Victory Road in September. The win marks the first title reign for Ash and Heather by Elegance. Luna slams her and drops her with a back-breaker. Luna and Threat double-team Heather. The Personal Concierge distracts Luna, and Heather knocks her to the outside. He dances at ringside. Heather catches Luna with a dropkick. Ash grounds Luna. The Personal Concierge and kicks Luna. Ash hits Luna from behind. Heather and Ash keep Luna isolated. Threat tags in and rallies. She drops Ash and Heather with a clothesline. Threat dives onto Ash and Heather at ringside. The Personal Concierge breaks up a pin and dances. Threat and Luna hit hm with the Pressure Drop. Cora Jade Suffers Apparent Injury On WWE NXT
Cora Jade seemingly suffered an injury on the March 4th episode of WWE NXT. After a backstage confrontation, Jade faced Jordynne Grace in a singles match on Tuesday night. TNA Knockouts World Champion Masha Slamovich was shown in the crowd on the March 4th episode, hoping to scout Jade ahead of their match at TNA Sacrifice. Grace and Jade battled back and forth, but the match came to an abrupt end. Jade suffered an apparent injury when she slipped on the ropes. Medical officials checked on her. It was announced that she was unable to continue, and Grace was declared the winner. Jade was then helped to the back. Update: Jade later took to social media and provided an update. She wrote that she 'got rocked for a sec,' but her knees were okay. She thanked everyone for their concern.
