Candidates who want to appear for Combined Civil Services Examination- IA (Group IA Service) and Combined Civil Services Examination - I (Group I Services) can download the admit card through the official website of TNPSC at The preliminary examination will be held on June 15, 2025. Preliminary Examination is meant to serve as a screening test only and the marks obtained in the Preliminary Examination by the candidates who are declared qualified for admission to the Main Examination will not be counted for determining their final order of merit. The exam carries a maximum of 300 marks and is conducted for 3 hours using the OMR-based method. TNPSC Group 1 achievers felicitated in Coimbatore
Shankar IAS Academy in Coimbatore felicitated five of its students who cleared the TNPSC Group 1 exams, at a function held on Sunday. Professor E. Balagurusamy, former UPSC member and Anna University Vice-Chancellor, was the Chief Guest. He honoured Madhu Varshini (Assistant Commissioner – Commercial Tax), Harsha (Assistant Director of Rural Development), and Beulah Violet (DSP). Larsen Israel (DSP) and Jeevitha (Deputy Registrar, Cooperative Society) were honoured in absentia. Prof. Balagurusamy emphasised the role of civil servants in nation-building and urged aspirants to uphold ethical values, think critically, and work collaboratively.
