#SHOWBIZ: Cik B denies celebrating her birthday at a club, serving alcohol
KUALA LUMPUR: The daughter of well-known entrepreneur, Datuk Seri Vida, Cik B has refuted claims that her recent birthday party took place at a club and served alcohol to guests.
In a recent interview with a TV3 Melodi reporter, Cik B, whose full name is Nur Edlynn Zamileen Muhammad Amin, stressed that her 20th birthday celebration was held at a private residence and no alcohol was served.
"Astaghfirullah, I have never consumed any alcohol. What was alleged about the party is not true," Cik B explained in the YouTube video uploaded by the entertainment show. "And when I sent out the invitations, I already made it clear that there would be no alcohol at the party."
However, Cik B also apologised to anyone offended by the party, where men and women mingled freely, which is contrary to what practising Muslims are expected to observe.
"For that, I apologise, as I'm not perfect."
