TVS Motor signs pact with Kadam Mobility to deploy 500 e3Ws in FY26
TVS Motor Company has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Kadam Mobility , a fleet and electric vehicle (EV) infrastructure platform provider, to deploy 500 units of the TVS King EV Max electric three-wheeler (e3W) during the financial year 2026 (FY26). The initiative marks a significant step toward accelerating India's electric vehicle transition and strengthening sustainable urban transportation, the companies said in a joint statement Tuesday. Phased Rollout Starting Q2 FY26 The companies will commence deploying the TVS King EV Max in pilot zones from the July-August quarter (Q2FY26), with gradual expansion planned in terms of fleet size and operational routes. Kadam Mobility will focus on metro and tier-1 cities as the partnership scales. Rajat Gupta, business head (commercial mobility) at TVS Motor Company, said, 'Our collaboration with Kadam Mobility reinforces our shared commitment to India's electric transition and inclusive urban mobility.' Anubhav Swara, founder & CEO of Kadam Mobility, said, 'This collaboration marks a major step toward scaling clean mobility infrastructure while empowering thousands of drivers with future-ready livelihoods .' Kadam Mobility plans to upskill drivers, including women and people from the underrepresented groups, through training programs and provide access to cleaner transport livelihoods. Notably, the TVS King EV Max is targeted at meeting the demands of reliable and cost-effective urban passenger mobility. Its features include a range of 179km, fast-charging, Bluetooth integration via TVS SmartXonnect, and spacious interiors.

TVS Motor, OOR cabs join hands to deploy 500 EVs in TN
TVS Motor Company on Thursday entered into a pact with cab aggregator startup OOR Cabs , to supply 500 TVS King EV MAX electric three-wheelers during the financial year 2025-26. According to a company release, this partnership is aimed at promoting sustainable urban mobility across Tamil Nadu. "As part of the initiative, OOR Cabs will deploy the vehicles for eco-friendly intra-city passenger services, beginning with Trichy (Tiruchirappally), and progressively expand operations to Madurai and Coimbatore. The integration of these electric vehicles into OOR Cabs' fleet reinforces both companies' commitment to cleaner, more efficient transportation solutions," it said. TVS King EV Max's features including Bluetooth connectivity and quick charging capability have been customised in line with OOR Cabs' vision of delivering an enhanced passenger experience. OOR Cabs plans to increase its EV fleet by adding 20-30 vehicles every month, empowering both men and women drivers and promoting sustainable livelihoods in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities. This initiative is aligned with Tamil Nadu's goal of leading the nation in clean mobility transformation. As part of the event, the first batch of TVS King EV Max vehicles were delivered to customers. A total of 10 units were ceremonially handed over during the event held in Tiruchirappalli.

Two and three-wheeler manufacturer TVS Motor Company has rolled out its electric three-wheeler—the TVS King EV Max—in Tamil Nadu. Priced at Rs 2.95 lakh (ex-showroom), the TVS King EV Max offers a range of 179 km on a single charge and supports quick charging up to 80 per cent in just 2 hours and 15 minutes. It also features TVS SmartXonnect, offering real-time navigation, alerts, and vehicle diagnostics through customers' smartphones. 'The launch of the TVS King EV Max in Tamil Nadu is a significant step forward in our commitment to providing sustainable solutions for last-mile connectivity. As urban areas continue to grow, the demand for clean mobility options has never been more critical,' said Rajat Gupta, Business Head – Commercial Mobility, in a press release. 'The TVS King EV Max combines advanced electric propulsion with superior comfort and connectivity. The distinctive blend of long range, impressive acceleration, and quick charging ensures high uptime, enabling more trips and increased earning potential for customers, including fleet operators,' he added. The TVS King EV Max is powered by a high-performance 51.2V lithium-ion battery and has a top speed of 60 km/h. The vehicle comes with a warranty of six years or 1.5 lakh km, whichever is earlier, along with 24x7 roadside assistance for three years, the company said.
