Taco Wars returning to Shreveport
SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS) — Residents will have the chance to enjoy some delicious food as the Taco Wars returns Shreveport.
The event will take place in downtown Shreveport to celebrate Latino culture featuring, taquerias, sweet treats, margaritas, cold bear, and live music. 90% of all taco and treat sales will go directly to the vendors, with remaining funds supporting the festival.
Food and drinks can only be purchased using paper tickets, which are available for one dollar each. Tacos usually cost between two and five tickets each. Water is one ticket, sodas cost three tickets, and alcoholic beverages range from six tickets for beers to 12-15 for margaritas. Please note that tickets are non-refundable, but cash and cards will be accepted to purchase tickets.
Tacos Wars will be held on on Saturday, April 26, from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Shreveport Municipal Auditorium.
