Law Roach Addresses Rumored Tension Between Zendaya and Anna Sawai Following Met Gala Appearances
Law Roach says all things are good between his client Zendaya and Anna Sawai. On May 5, the actresses broke the Internet after showing up to the 2025 Met Gala in nearly identical looks in honor of the "Tailored for You" dress code. Her stylist Karla Welch and I are very friendly, we've known each other for years. Karla and I talked, Zendaya sent Anna flowers because it was [Sawai's] first Met," he said in an interview with Entertainment Tonight at the Disney Upfront on May 13. Roach added that the moment was no big deal since Zendaya and Sawai were "two people paying homage to two different people." But most importantly, I'm so happy with my look, so please be happy for me too." This year's Met Gala theme celebrated the Costume Institute's exhibit "Superfine: Tailoring Black Style." Per Vogue, the exhibit draws inspiration from Monica L. Miller's 2009 book Slaves to Fashion: Black Dandyism and the Styling of Black Diasporic Identity and will "feature garments, paintings, photographs, and more — all exploring the indelible style of Black men in the context of dandyism, from the 18th century through present day." Aimee Lou Wood awkwardly dodges costar Walton Goggins on Met Gala red carpet amid ongoing 'feud'
appeared to do her best to steer clear of her The White Lotus costar Walton Goggins on the Met Gala red carpet despite hanging out with other cast mates. The 31-year-old actress looked stunning in a black-and-white deconstructed suit with a long black train draped to her side. Her complicated feud with Walton, 53, took another turn over the weekend after fans noticed that the pair were again following each other on Instagram. Rumors that Aimee and Walton's feud began to spread after fans speculated that Walton may have blocked Aimee, as the two were at one point not following each other, despite him previously posting praise for her. Ironically, the pair looked as if they could have coordinated their black-and-white ensembles for this year's Met Gala theme, 'Tailored for You,' which is inspired by the Spring 2025 exhibit at the Metropolitan Museum Of Art's Costume Institute, Superfine: Tailoring Black Style. Aimee made her debut at the 2025 edition of the Met Gala in a striking custom Burberry gown. Aimee's look featured a cropped tuxedo jacket with short, lustrous lapels and a contrasting white button-up shirt with a slim black necktie. The long satin skirt was draped under half the jacket, while still leaving a glimpse of her white shirt. The actress's outfit was created by London designer Priya Ahluwalia, according to Vogue. Her look featured several playful touches, including rumpled white mid-calf socks that contrasted with her pointy-toed black heels that were adorned with red, white, and cream-colored carnations. Aimee reportedly wore Cartier diamonds as she sparkled with dangling diamond earrings, a jeweled floral brooch and a thick, diamond-covered ring on her left middle finger. Walton's Thom Browne designed look bore a strong resemblance to Aimee's outfit. He wore a black skirt under a long coat, a white shirt, and a slender black tie. The intriguing deconstructed design gave fans a glimpse into the process of tailoring a bespoke suit, as the look had what seemed to be the initial stitches on the skirt and jacket that a tailor would create before removing them for the final fitting. Walton's jacket had also not been completely sealed up, and the outer layer of the jacket pulled apart from the lining toward the bottom, revealing that layer of canvas that is used inside high-quality tailored suit jackets to help give it shape and structure. The actor, who was pictured posing on the red carpet with Kerry Washington, has struck up controversy in recent weeks over his changed relationship with Aimee. The pair previously seemed to share a close relationship but as the third season of The White Lotus was aired they seemed to keep their distance during promo events. However, fans noticed that Aimee and Walton are again following each other days ago, suggesting that they may have worked out their differences. Despite the still mysterious rumored feud Aimee made a show of posing with her fellow White Lotus costar Patrick Schwarzenegger on the red carpet. Patrick wore an oversize black Balmain suit with pinstripes and a jacket that appeared to be tucked into his baggy trousers. Under the suit he wore a pleated yellow satin shirt and carried a burgundy leather clutch which featured a large gold buckle that matched his leather belt.
