Tallahassee Police reopen I-10 ramp after ‘death investigation'
A police 'death investigation' Friday morning near I-10 and Raymond Diehl Road briefly closed the nearby interstate ramp ahead of the morning commute.
'At this time the east bound on-ramp to I-10 from Raymond Diehl Road is closed,' the Tallahassee Police Department wrote in an online incident alert posted on social media. 'Motorists are urged to avoid the area and use alternate routes. TPD will provide updates when they are available.'
By about 8:10 a.m., TPD announced that the agency had reopened the road.
Police did not provide any other details on the investigation and a watch commander did not answer a call. A TPD spokesperson told the Democrat the incident was not traffic related and more information would be forthcoming.
