Gangland enforcers slam reports of "truce" as they vow to carry on turf war violence

The crime group released the video after reports of a truce between the Daniel and Lyons family. Gangland enforcers Tamo Junto (TMJ) have vowed to carry on their turf war despite reports of a truce between the Lyons and Daniel families. We reported earlier that a well-placed source said the Dubai-based Mr Big behind attacks on Daniel targets, Ross McGill, had agreed to end hostilities after being leaned on by cartel bosses in Dubai. ‌ They were said to be 'unhappy' over a police crackdown on the turf war which has led to a slowdown in the lucrative drug trade in Scotland. ‌ But McGill's faceless gang Tamo Junto have since released a video saying the war will continue. McGill has been waging war on Mark Richardson's crime mob from Edinburgh and the Daniel clan from Glasgow since March after he was ripped off in a £500,000 cocaine deal when the buyer used fake bank notes. The video released by the TMJ crime gang on Friday morning states that anyone linked to the Daniel Clan or Mark Richardson remains a target for their group. ‌ The clip mocked their rivals for having fled their homes and promised that they would do their talking on the streets. They said: "TMJ will continue to target anyone associated with the Daniel family or Mark Richardson. ‌ "There will never be a truce between TMJ and the Gremlins. "We have terrorised you since March and will continue to do so. "Some of you have fled your homes. ‌ "Some of you have fled Scotland. "Some of you sleep with fire extinguishers. "Some of you have bulletproof windows. ‌ "Some of you have offered us money to leave you alone. "Some of you have tried to contact us for peace. ‌ "Some of you have offered us information on your own family and friends." "We do our talking on the streets. We aren't going away. "We will continue to target you. We have no rules or limits. ‌ "We are coming for you." It comes after we told that the Lyons crime gang have pulled out of the feud over concerns about the police crack down. ‌ The clan were said to have been feeding McGill information about their rivals, the Daniel family, but boss Steven Lyons, 44, made the call to concentrate on his own interests. A source said he issued the order over fears his enforcers could be arrested and jailed and his family would lose their grip on power in the north of Glasgow. Police Scotland has arrested 41 people in connection with a series of linked incidents across the country since March. Join the Daily Record WhatsApp community! Mob waging gang war on Scotland's streets DENY reports of a truce – and vow 'we aren't going away'

Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) A VICIOUS mob waging a gang war on Scotland's streets have DENIED reports of a truce - and have vowed 'we aren't going away.' It was claimed today that rival crews from the Lyons and Daniel factions have agreed to halt the violence on orders from Dubai-based mob boss Ross McGill, 31. 3 The message from TMJ flatly denied reports of a truce 3 The video concluded with the sinister warning that the group are still going to target their rivals 3 Ex-Union Bears ultra Ross McGill is behind the gang war But sinister group Tamo Junto (TMJ) - who claim to be waging war against the Daniel's crime clan and its associates - today blew those claims out of the water. And they said they would continue to target the Daniel clan or anyone associated with drugs kingpin Mark Richardson, 38. They said: 'We have terrorised you since March and we will continue to do so. 'Despite false claims in the media, TMJ will continue to target anyone associated with the Daniel family or Mark Richardson. 'There will never be a truce between TMJ and the Gremlins. 'We aren't going away - we will continue to target you. 'We have no rules, we have no limits. 'We are coming for you.' They also mocked their rivals for trying to buy their way out of the firing line using cash or info - and said beefed-up security was futile. The video continued: 'Some of you have fled your homes, some of you have fled Scotland. The DOWNFALL of Scotland's biggest gangster - Jamie 'The Iceman' Stevenson Part Two 'Some of you sleep with fire extinguishers, some of you have installed bullet proof windows. 'Some of you have offered us money to be left alone. 'Some of you have tried to contact us for peace. 'Some of you have offered us information on your own friends and family. 'We don't need to create fake stories for the media or set up social media pages, we do our talking on the streets.' The sinister video then shows numerous firebombings on homes, businesses and cars. It also shows two men who were apparently slashed in the bloody war. Last Wednesday, David McMillan, 54, was attacked with a machete at his plush home in Greenbank, Edinburgh - the third time his home had been targeted. McMillan is a close pal of caged crime boss Mark Richardson, whose associates have been blamed by McGill for ripping him off over a £500,000 drug deal using fake notes. Cops investigating the mayhem have revealed they've arrested 41 people in connection with the gangland war. The savagery comes days after a machete murder bid on convicted heroin dealer Robert Daniel – a leading member of Glasgow's notorious Daniel crime family who are allied to Richardson. We told how two men aged 45 and 41 suffered horror wounds when three thugs burst into CS Accident Repair Garage looking for Daniel, 50, but turned their fury on innocent workers. The culprits pounced on Monday before speeding off in an Audi after 'chopping up' two men who were later rushed to hospital with horrific injuries. The pair drove four miles to Blantyre, Lanarkshire, then clambered into a red Vauxhall Astra which had followed them to a rendezvous point near a children's nursery before it raced away. The Scottish Sun was the firest newspaper to reveal that ex-Rangers ultra Ross McGill, nicknamed 'Miami', was behind the terrifying gangland war on Scotland's streets. McGill has been hunted by cops for three years over claims he was involved in drug dealing and serious crime. But he fled the UK in 2022 — months after he announced he was stepping down as Rangers ultras' leader — amid fears he would be arrested after cops cracked encrypted phone network EncroChat. He has resurfaced as an aspiring crimelord, calling the shots on an ongoing underworld turf feud that has seen a wave of attacks in and around Edinburgh and Glasgow. The Scot was recently snapped in a white Rolls-Royce in the desert haven favoured by criminals eager to evade the law. Previously he was a top figure in the fanatical Gers supporters group — even posing for photos next to captain James Tavernier, 33, and ex-manager Steven Gerrard, 44.

Gangland crime clans "call truce" in violent turf war

The news follows a spate of increasingly violent attacks in recent weeks and dozens of arrests by police. Scotland's warring crime clans have agreed a truce in their violent turf war, The Record can reveal. The news follows a spate of increasingly violent attacks in recent weeks and dozens of arrests by police. ‌ Thugs on both sides are nervously waiting to see if the peace deal between Lyons and Daniel associated gangs in the West of Scotland sticks. ‌ Last night a source told The Record: 'The turf war is we will just have to wait and see if it holds.' A well-placed source told how the Dubai-based Mr Big behind attacks on Daniel targets, Ross McGill, has agreed to end hostilities after being leaned on by cartel bosses in Dubai. They are said to be 'unhappy' over a police crackdown on the turf war which has led to a slowdown in the lucrative drug trade in Scotland. ‌ According to the source, McGill - an associate of Glasgow's Lyons gang - called off the string of attacks following a summit with an associate of the rival Daniel crime clan. It is not known if a mob in Edinburgh associated with jailed crime kingpin Mark Richardon have agreed to the truce. ‌ It comes after police executed attempted murder and arson charges against suspected gang members who have been rampaging since March. The source said: 'McGill immediately ordered the truce to get back to business after trade all but dried up as a result of the turmoil. The police scrutiny doesn't help. 'Both parties have talked to each other on the phone and everything seems to be resolved. The deal is done so Glasgow should calm down from now on. ‌ 'The Lyons have lost a lot of money for their backers and they are under a bit of pressure to get it back.' The source added: 'The last lot of nonsense was largely about the Lyons trying to get all the turf to themselves but the bottom line is there is not going to be any more violence in Glasgow. ‌ 'There has been a conversation with Ross and it is going to stop. 'We need to wait and see if there are any more outbursts but I don't think there will be. 'Yes, people were attacked but that should stop. ‌ 'As far as the gangs in the West of Scotland are concerned, there is no more war.' The crime feud has been playing out on the streets of Edinburgh and Glasgow in recent months. ‌ Trouble initially flared between the rival factions after hoods linked to caged cocaine kingpin Mark Richardson were accused of ripping off McGill over a stash of cocaine worth £500,000. It is believed counterfeit money was used to buy the drugs. We previously told how McGill offered £100,000 bounties for attacks on his top targets - with a new crime gang Tamo Junto carrying out a series of hits. ‌ Homes and properties linked to the Daniel family and Edinburgh mob boss Richardson, who is currently behind bars, have been torched. Earlier this month, Machete thugs also attempted to slice open the skull of David McMillan Snr, a close pal of Richardson, in a brazen attack at his Edinburgh home. McMillan managed to fight back before his assailants fled. He later drove himself to hospital. ‌ Two men were injured in a separate machete attack at a garage owned by Glasgow crime clan member Robert Daniel. The violent incident took place outside the 50-year-old's CS accident repair shop in East Kilbride. Two men, aged 41 and 45, were injured in the incident. ‌ The Record understands Robert was the intended victim as his family have been targeted over their association with Richardson. The turf war has led to an equally dramatic police operation to catch the thugs. ‌ Chief Constable Jo Farrell named the crackdown Operation Portaledge. Last week, officers executed warrants at addresses in Edinburgh, Whitburn and Bathgate. A 21-year old man has since been charged in connection with two attempted murders and fire-raising in Edinburgh and Lanarkshire. ‌ Police also arrested and charged three men aged 18 and one aged 31 with fire-raising at the home of McMillan snr. Incidents across the country have led to a total of 41 arrests. ‌ The source told The Record: 'Individuals have alliances but the so-called gang war hasn't really amounted to much. 'Count up the bodies and an old woman and a kid got hurt, not particularly seriously, and a guy in Edinburgh got slashed. 'Other than that it was mostly doors that got a bit torched and a few slightly more serious fire damage. ‌ 'It's all a bit silly really. 'Most of it was perpetrated by teenagers and those teenagers are the ones who will be paraded through the courts and who will get attempted murder through arson charges and end up in prison for a long time, certainly double figures. 'Some of those people got involved because they owed a load of money and were told they could write off their debt. 'It could flare up again so people will have to wait and see. But for now, it's over.'

Beatson has previously been targeted in alleged attacks around the underworld feud. As the war first started raging, three gunshots were allegedly fired into his home in Niddrie in March, as a Dubai-based Mr Big started targeting people linked to Richardson. We previously revealed how the gangsters waging war on Richardson and his allies in the feared Daniel crime clan in Glasgow had hired a hitman hunt down their enemies in Richardson's crew, with Beatson reportedly lying low in the capital. The Dubai-based gangster, a former Union Bears ultra known as 'Miami', has been waging war on the underworld groups after claims Richardson's crew used fake cash in a £500k cocaine deal. The violence has spiralled into a shocking series of alleged attacks where homes have been shot at, smashed up and firebombed. A mysterious group known as Tamo Junto, or TMJ2025, has been targeting the homes linked to the Daniel family, and have even threatened to 'exterminate' the feared Glasgow crime clan. So far dozens of people, including teenagers, have been arrested, charged and appeared in court for their alleged roles in the gang violence sweeping Scotland's streets. A Police Scotland spokesperson said: 'About 7.05pm on Friday, 16 May, 2025, we were called to a report of a van on fire in Peacocktail Close, Edinburgh. Gangster Bonzo Daniel back in Glasgow as Dubai Mr Big's hitmen track every move

Steven 'Bonzo' Daniel is believed to have returned to Glasgow in recent weeks. Glasgow crime clan boss Steven 'Bonzo' Daniel has returned to Glasgow as underworld sources warn footsoldiers ordered to kill him are tracking his hood fled to the middle east last month after thugs working for a Dubai-based Mr Big orchestrating gang wars in Scotland firebombed his house in is at the top of Mr Big's list of high-profile targets and a £100k bounty has been placed on his head. He is wanted over his links to Edinburgh mob boss Mark Richardson, who sparked a feud with Mr Big after his cronies are understood to have ripped the gangster off in a £500k drug deal.A source told the Record Bonzo has been forced to return home to protect his family and business interests after they suffered a spate of targeted Rangers-daft hood has since been spotted at Ibrox and in Possilpark area of the city in recent weeks. ‌ The source said: " Bonzo is home and has been for the past few weeks."His return makes him the number one target for Mr Big's enforcers again since he is head of the Daniel clan at the moment."Mark Richardson is obviously up there as well, but he is inside, so Big wants Bonzo dead and his crew are desperate to claim his scalp."Big's henchmen, a faceless and fearless group called Tamo Junto (TMJ), are understood to be watching Bonzo's every move as they wait for the moment to strike. ‌ The source added: "They first learned he was back home when he was spotted at Ibrox at the Celtic game and then he was seen in Possilpark the following day, so they have been following him ever since. "They know everything about his movements and haven't ruled out going after him at a Rangers game, but attacking him at Ibrox with the amount of police there would be difficult." Bonzo doesn't take many risks. He apparently has a panic room in his house and he had steel bollards put in outside after a motor was rammed into it years ago."He even enters and exits his house through his garage after he parks his car."Scotland's ongoing gang war appeared to have settled in recent weeks, but the feud was reignited after Bonzo and Richardson's crews set up an Instagram page to unmask Mr Big, who the Record cannot name for legal reasons. The account, which shared the kingpin's passport photo, also branded him a "shitebag" and claimed he "ran away" from rivals after a chance encounter in Dubai. The source said the page enraged Big, who reacted by ordering fresh hits on his enemies and their close associates. On Tuesday, we reported that Bonzo's cousin Kelly 'Bo' Green's home on Drumchapel Road in Glasgow was attacked in the early hours of the morning. ‌ Kelly, 45, is the daughter of late kingpin Jamie Daniel and she is the widow of crime clam enforcer Kevin 'the Gerbil' Carroll who was famously shot dead in an Asda car park in Robroyston in 2010. Last week, a property on the same street as Richardson's family home was attacked. The house, located on Cumnor Crescent in Edinburgh, was targeted on Saturday night, with a female relative of Richardson's understood to still reside on the street. The extent of the damage to the property is currently days earlier, Tamo Junto claimed credit for targeting the plush Edinburgh home of his close pal David McMillan snr for the second time in three yobs wearing face coverings torched a luxury white Land Rover Defender in the driveway of the property after his family returned from a shopping source added: "Bonzo and Richardson's crowd have been circulating fake stories about Mr Big in Dubai."Mr Big is rarely seen in public because he knows the likes of the National Crime Agency will be out there watching him like a hawk. "All they are really doing is winding up Mr Big even more. Look what has happened in the last week and half since they created the fake social media page that identified him."This is going to go on for a long time, or at least until Mr Big can start claiming heads. Grudges in the underworld last forever and don't stop until either side is completely wiped out."
