Jacob Edwards struck the only goal of the game at the stroke of the interval as the Tanat Valley side battled to a 1-0 win at home to title rivals Forden United on Saturday. Mike Barton's men can now look forward to competing in the Ardal North East League next season. Barton said: "It's been a long season started in July at Saltney. "The last month has been extremely tough with games coming thick and fast. "We have played over 50 games this season and it's taken its toll so to get over the line like we did on Saturday in such a game and occasion was testament to to lads drive to get back to tier three. "It was a fantastic day and night long to be remembered by everyone involved." Barton insisted the club would waste no time as he sought to bolster this summer.
