Will There Be a El Hareefa 3?

Yara Sameh Producer Tarek El Genainy revealed there will be plans for a third film of the "El Hareefa". The first film was released in January 2024 and achieved a massive performance at the domestic box office that reached EGP 75 million. In February, the film received sequel treatment titled "El Hareefa: Al Remontada" following its massive performance. The follow-up surpassed the first film's revenues by double, ranking among the top 10 films in the history of Egyptian cinema. "The revenues of the second part of "El Hareefa" doubled the first film, and this is something that doesn't happen often," he said, "After we finished shooting the second film, during the editing stage, I saw that sequels don't achieve the success of the first film worldwide." El Genainy added: "El Hareefa did something I haven't seen much, even as a person who loves cinema, I haven't seen an impact like what the film did before.' 'We will make a third part, God willing, but not now, it will take while," he concluded. The original film follows Majed, who is forced to leave his high-end life and move from a private school to a public school. Over time, he gains the respect of his classmates with his football skills. "El Hareefa: Al Remontada" follows El Hareefa's decision to achieve their dream together after winning the championship in the first part.
