Christina Haack Shared A Heartwarming Co-Parenting Tribute For Mother's Day

"Hearst Magazines and Yahoo may earn commission or revenue on some items through these links." Christina Haack has shared a heartwarming tribute to co-parenting as she and Heather Rae El Moussa celebrated Mother's Day together. The Christina on the Coast host shared that the pair had headed out for an early Mother's Day meal with Haack's nine-year-old son, Brayden, who she shares with her ex-husband, HGTV star Tarek El Moussa. Haack and Tarek were married for almost ten years before divorcing in 2018. 'We got spoiled early for Mother's Day by this cutie,' Haack wrote in the caption of a joint Instagram post. Brayden grins as he poses with his arms around both his mom and stepmom. 'Beautiful classroom tea party, sweet notes and lots of love. Hope everyone has a wonderful Mother's Day weekend as well!' Fans were delighted to see the pair celebrating together, who have seemingly worked on their relationship for the sake of their blended family after famously not getting along. "Love to see coparenting done right!" one person commented. "Beautiful! He's one lucky boy having both of you in his life," said another. A third wrote, "So beautiful to see a blended family with so much love." On May 11, Heather shared a sweet Instagram post honoring her and Tarek's two-year-old son, Tristen, and her stepsons Taylor and Brayden. "Motherhood changed me in ways I never imagined. Becoming a mom to my sweet Tristan, a bonus mom to Tay and Bray, and navigating this beautiful, sometimes chaotic journey with love, gratitude and patience," the former Selling Sunset star wrote in the caption. "I've learned so much from the strong women in my life," "My incredible mom and my amazing mother-in-law, your support, guidance, and love mean the world," she continued. "Today, I celebrate you both, and every type of mom out there showing up with strength, heart, and grace. I see you! Happy Mother's Day." Inside Christina Haack's ADORABLE Mother's Day Celebration With Heather Rae El Moussa

"Hearst Magazines and Yahoo may earn commission or revenue on some items through these links." Christina Haack and Heather Rae El Moussa are in mom power mode. On Friday, the Christina on the Coast star posted a sweet photo of the two women and son Brayden enjoying a pre-Mother's Day celebration. "We got spoiled early for Mother's Day by this cutie," Christina captioned the photo. "Beautiful classroom tea party, sweet notes and lots of love." In case you're new to HGTV super-fandom, Christina was previously married to Tarek El Moussa, who share children Brayden and Taylor. Though Christina and Tarek ultimately divorced in 2018, he found love again when he met Heather Rae the following year. (As for Christina? complicated, but we broke down what you need to know here.) Though co-parenting seems like a potentially tense situation, Christina, Tarek, and Heather Rae have successfully built a happy and healthy modern family. Not only have the HGTV stars teamed up to create a bunch of hilarious TikToks, but the unlikely trio also collaborated on The Flip Off, a series where the exes go head-to-head in a series of renovation challenges. The secret to their excellent co-parenting relationship? Prioritizing family. "We always put the kids first," Tarek told House Beautiful. "Through that, we were able to rebuild our friendship—and that really came because of Heather and Christina really getting along." Whether they're filming The Flip Off or hanging out with the kids, Christina and Heather Rae spend lots of time together. So while this Mother's Day celebration isn't exactly a shock, fans are thrilled to see another excellent display of their modern family. "The friendship and kindness between the two of you is so beautiful," one person wrote. "How wonderful to see his smile, knowing that both of will always be there for him," another commented. "Great example of a kid brought up right and women who were raised right." "Why is this making me teary?" a third asked. "Beautiful and heartwarming." Though Heather and Tarek welcomed son Tristan in 2023, she takes her step-mom duties very seriously; however, she's not here to replace Christina. "I give her props because—being now a mom and having my son—it would be really hard to have a woman come in and raise my kid, and not know what they're doing at that household," Heather said on an episode of On Display with Melissa Gorga. "I think Christina knew early on that my heart was just pure. I was just there to love and I was there to be a really good stepmom." Co-parenting at its finest. Follow on Instagram and TikTok. Heather Rae El Moussa Has an Update on Whether She'll Have More Kids

HGTV star Heather Rae El Moussa is giving an update about possibly expanding her family. While speaking to E! News during a May 10 interview, Heather referenced that she's publicly stated that she and her husband, Tarek El Moussa, don't agree about having more children. The couple, who wed in 2021, have a 2-year-old son, Tristan. Tarek and his ex-wife, Christina Haack, also have two older children, Taylor and Brayden. "We're in the see what happens phase. I have been vocal, probably more than my husband would like, that I would love to have another baby," said Heather to the publication. Heather also said being a stepmother to Taylor and Brayden made her want to have her own child. "I was lucky enough to be become a stepmom to Taylor and Brayden six years ago. And I fell in love with them. And then that made me want to have my own," said Heather during the interview. She also said her enjoyment of being a mother and stepmother has made her want to have more children. "Having Tristan made me realize, like, 'I love being a mom. I love being a stepmom. It brings so much joy to my life that, why not want more?'" said Heather. Heather opened up about not being aligned with her husband about giving Tristan a younger sibling during a March 2025 episode of the 'Scrubbing In with Becca Tilley & Tanya Rad' podcast, as reported by People magazine. '[My son] is the light of my life. It makes me so happy. I'm like, 'How could I not want more?' But my husband is very much done. So we're very different in what we want in our future. So that's hard,' said Heather to People. She also said she would like to have another child as soon as possible because she is "turning 38 this year." "So for me, it's kind of like now or never in a way. Not because you can't have babies older, but I don't want to be 40 having babies still 'cause it's a lot. It takes up a lot of your time, a lot of your life, and the kids are my priority over myself. So I want to do it, get my body back. And it took a long time. It's hard," said Heather on the podcast episode. She also said she and Tarek have spoken about the issue in couples therapy. Tarek explained why he wasn't too keen about having more children during an April 2025 interview on Page Six's Virtual RealiTEA podcast. He said he is focused on his career and does not want to divert attention away from Taylor, Brayden, and Tristan. He also said he is "99 percent" sure he will not have more children. "But, you know, I do have a wife. So we'll see what happens," said Tarek during the April 2025 interview.

Heather Rae El Moussa and husband Tarek are STILL divided on baby No. 2

Heather Rae El Moussa and her husband Tarek El Moussa are still divided on whether to have a second child - five months after starting couple's therapy. At 37, the Heather Rae Essentials creator admits she's 'a little bit older' and has 'a time clock' in terms of carrying one of their 'embryos on ice' from the last round of IVF. 'I think it's natural for a woman to kind of start making that decision. Is it going to work for our family, or are we good as we are?' Heather explained to Us Weekly on Wednesday. 'We are talking about possibly having another baby. I would like one, Tarek feels done, and I think that's also very real. I think a lot of couples go through this.' El Moussa (born Young) wound up welcoming their first child - two-year-old son Tristan Jay El Moussa - naturally while going through the IVF process. 'Talking about having another baby is just one layer. It's not why we were in therapy,' the Anaheim native noted. Heather added that she 'truly' wished they'd started therapy before they wed in 2021 'just to learn to communicate through things.' El Moussa previously revealed on the March 27th episode of the Scrubbing In podcast that they go to couple's therapy at least twice a month. 'I'm turning 38 this year. So for me, it's kind of like now or never in a way, not because you can't have babies older, but I don't want to be 40 having babies still because it's a lot,' the former Playboy Playmate admitted. 'It takes up a lot of your time, a lot of your life, and the kids are my priority over myself. So I want to do it, get my body back. And it took a long time. It's hard.' The 43-year-old Flipping 101 host already fathered two older children - son Brayden, 9; and daughter Taylor, 14 - during his seven-year marriage to Christina Haack, which amicably ended in 2018. On April 30, Tarek and Heather reunited with his 41-year-old ex-wife for a for your consideration event for their HGTV reality show The Flip Off, which was held at the Pacific Design Center in West Hollywood. HGTV star Tarek El Moussa is best known for flipping homes in pricey California since debuting on the network with 'Flip or Flop' in 2012. That's about to change, however, as El Moussa is investing in Arkansas to capitalize on the real estate boom, mainly fueled by Walmart's (NYSE:WMT) expanded 350-acre headquarters in Bentonville. 'I'm always looking for markets that feel like they're on the verge of exploding—and Northwest Arkansas checked every box,' El Moussa told 'The first time I visited, I felt it immediately: energy, growth, community, opportunity. It reminded me of what Orange County felt like 20 years ago—before it became the powerhouse it is today.' El Moussa is not investing on a small scale. He has joined a group of investors led by Elevate Den Centerton Multifamily Property Owner LLC, which has pooled its resources to buy an apartment complex in Centerton, Arkansas, located within five miles of Walmart's corporate campus. Elevate has quietly been purchasing the complex over the past two years. According to Talk Business & Politics, they bought Phases I and II of the apartment complex, Watercolors of Centerton for $45.16 million in 2023. The properties consist of 232 one- and two-bedroom units, and the third phase has 144 units. According to El Moussa, the elevated rental prices of the apartments compared to those in the area are indicative of the upgraded finishes and amenities. 'Watercolors isn't just an apartment complex—it's a lifestyle upgrade. We focused on design, livability, and what tenants actually care about: comfort, convenience, and community,' he told According to Walmart has galvanized the Bentonville community. The retailer's main office spans 350 acres and comprises 12 office buildings, food halls, a fitness center, childcare facilities, and parking decks, all integrated into the local community. 'When a company that powerful is building in a community, the ripple effects are huge: Schools get better, infrastructure improves, job security rises—and people stay. To me, that meant stability and growth,' El Moussa told has been particularly profitable recently as shoppers have taken advantage of the retailer's discounts amid high inflation. Walmart's holiday quarter saw a 20% increase in sales. The company's post-pandemic hot streak has elevated its market valuation above $800 billion, although it has dropped this year. Although a 2024 IZA Labor of Economics Study showed that yearly income dropped by 6% after 10 years of a Walmart Center coming to town, driving out smaller businesses, El Moussa believes Walmart can only be a net gain.
