Winning Wednesday: FAN Ministry, St. Philip AME Church
SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) — A winning moment for a ministry creating a healthier community through the FAN Ministry which stands for faith, activity and nutrition.
St. Philip AME Church was recently awarded Healthy Savannah's 2025 Innovation Award for health awareness.
FAN host the annual Taste of St. Philip event, where church members share recipes and healthier food options.
In addition, they organize an annual health fair, a walking in the spirit contest, and incorporate fan moments during sermons to discuss important health topics.
