9 amazing free things families can get with Emirates
There's nothing like a little freebie when you travel.
Whether it's a quick perfume spritz at duty-free or a sample from one of the stores, it always adds something special to your trip.
So it's important to know that there are some family freebies with Emirates that you need to make the most of when travelling.
Taking the little ones through the airport can be challenging enough, so enjoy these perks designed to make your journey easier.
Emirates freebies
Baby amenities
For those flying with infants, Emirates will provide all families with a free baby amenity kit including nappies, a bib, lotion and even a changing mat so that keeping the little ones fresh and clean is easy.
Complimentary strollers
Once inside DXB, families can use the free baby strollers for infants or small children, to get them from A to B as quickly and easily as possible.
Dubai Airport Buggies
Dubai Airport buggies are available for free from Terminal 3 and need to be booked by the airline or the service provider ahead of time. The TaxiDXB service can be found in Concourses B and C.
Early luggage drop-off
Dubai International Airport
It's always easier to keep the kids in check when you're not lugging an array of cases too. So be sure to use the free early luggage drop-off to make your airport experience smoother.
Passengers departing from Dubai can check-in early and drop off their bags at the airport 24 hours before departure.
Or if it's easier to take the cases to DIFC, you can use the Emirates City Check-In and Travel Store at ICD Brookfield Place, where you can check-in and drop off your luggage as early as 24 hours before the flight.

Kids play areas
There are complimentary play areas in the First and Business Class Lounges in Dubai Airport, Concourse A and B, where families can make full use of the facilities.
As well as arcade games and PlayStation terminals, mums can also make use of the mother and baby care rooms, feeding areas and baby changing facilities.
If you're not flying in First or Business class, check out where else you can entertain kids in DXB here.

With temperatures soaring in Dubai, Emirates is giving away free ice cream to cool travellers down.
Throughout June, passengers will be able to cool off with ice cream and sorbet at Terminal 3 in DXB.
Four big red striped carts will be dotted around the various departure areas on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays between Friday June 6 and Sunday July 20.
Passengers will have a choice between mango, chocolate or strawberry ice cream, or a passionfruit or raspberry sorbet, before setting off on holiday.
Running every Friday to Sunday, keep an eye out for the big red striped carts between midday and 6pm.
On-board toys and games

If you want to capture a special moment with the family, cabin crew will offer families a free Polaroid photo of them on the flight to take home.
Coming round with the camera, be sure to make sure the flight attendants snap one of you as they pass by your row.
Wi-Fi and Instant Messaging
A last freebie, kids get free Wi-Fi messaging with Emirates in all classes – simply add the membership number to the booking prior to the flight.
To access the Wi-Fi, you'll need to sign your children up to the Emirates Skysurfers loyalty programme, where they can earn miles on every Emirates and flydubai flight.
