Athlete of the Week: Taylor Wood
NIXA–This week's Athlete of the Week is Taylor Wood.
Wood is a junior goalkeeper on the Nixa High School girls soccer team.
Last week, in a showdown with arch-rival, Kickapoo, Wood posted a clean sheet to help the Lady Eagles shutout the Lady Chiefs, 1-0.
Her stellar effort between the pipes is a big reason Nixa is 11-1 overall and a perfect 6-0 in the Central Ozarks Conference this season.
