Longview ISD offers $10K stipend for ‘highly effective' elementary teachers

LONGVIEW, Texas (KETK)– Longview ISD seeks educators to join the transformation at Bailey Elementary School, offering a $10,000 stipend. 'Bailey Elementary is at a pivotal moment, and we are looking for passionate educators who want to make a meaningful impact,' Principal at Bailey Elementary Dr. Derrick Estes said. New hires who are recognized, exemplary or master educators can earn up to $32,000 in incentive pay. This pay is based on student growth and student evaluation scores through the Teacher's Incentive Allotment. The stipend will be paid in two parts: half in December and half in May. First ever East Texas Gamer Con coming to Longview this week Longview ISD is also hosting a career fair, which will take place at Hudson PEP Elementary on March 29. The fair will last from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and will offer on-the-spot interviews for a variety of positions. Bailey Elementary, Special Education (SPED) and Bilingual teachers will be the primary focus of the interviews. Childcare will also be provided for the attendees.
