Rare Lamborghini yacht carrying 32 including influencers and models sinks

MIAMI: A rare Lamborghini Tecnomar luxury yacht partially sank off Miami Beach on Saturday, prompting a rescue that saved all 32 on board. According to WSVN Channel 7, the incident occurred at approximately 5.05pm near Star Island, close to Monument Island, when the 63-foot vessel began taking on water. Emergency response teams from the US Coast Guard, Miami Beach Police Marine Patrol, Miami Beach Ocean Rescue, Miami-Dade Fire Rescue and the City of Miami Fire Rescue were dispatched to the scene. The high-end yacht, one of only 11 Tecnomar units designed by the Italian luxury carmaker was nearly vertical in the water as panicked passengers scrambled to safety. Eyewitnesses described the dramatic scene, with one bystander saying the boat was "completely vertical in the water." Another said, "It was really scary... I hope everyone on the boat is OK." A video circulating on social media showed passengers, many believed to be social media influencers, some reportedly models and stylists, with one aerial dance instructor standing atop the sinking vessel while wearing life vests. Some passengers managed to save personal belongings including laptops and high-end items such as a US$350 bottle of Clase Azul Gold tequila. The Coast Guard confirmed that all individuals on board were safely evacuated, with several rescued by a nearby good Samaritan's boat and others by law enforcement vessels. No injuries were reported. A similar Tecnomar yacht was previously purchased by MMA fighter Conor McGregor for US$3.6 million in 2021.

Dozens of bikini-clad women rescued from sinking £3.6m Lamborghini yacht in wild Miami boat party

The sun-soaked party on a luxury Lamborghini yacht turned into a nightmare when the £3.6million vessel began sinking off the coast of Miami Beach — with around 30 bikini-wearing women on board. The lavish trip took place on Saturday afternoon during Formula One weekend, as the 30 women piled onto the Tecnomar for Lamborghini 63 — a boat designed to carry just five passengers — for a boozy, champagne-filled day at sea. But things took a terrifying turn when the yacht suddenly began tipping and quickly started to sink, leaving stunned partygoers scrambling for life jackets, reports the MailOnline. ‌ Videos shared by passenger Lauren Nicole showed the women passing around bright orange life vests as panic set in. 'F*** my life,' she could be heard shouting as pieces of the expensive yacht floated nearby in the water. ‌ Emergency services raced to the scene and swiftly evacuated all 32 people on board, according to CiberCuba. Miraculously, no serious injuries were reported. Despite the dramatic ordeal, the party spirit remained strong. Footage from social media showed the group still laughing and dancing on rescue boats as they watched the £3.6m yacht vanish beneath the waves. One woman even clung to a bottle of Clase Azul Gold Tequila — worth a staggering £265 — cradling it as she beamed with pride. Her friends shouted: 'Baby is safe!' and 'The women and children are okay!' Lauren, meanwhile, shouted into the camera: 'Why God, why? Why did you do this to us?' as she sailed away from the scene. Crowds gathered on the shore, filming the dramatic scenes as the Miami Coast Guard swarmed the sinking yacht. ‌ Authorities have launched an investigation into the incident, with the yacht reportedly overloaded far beyond its intended capacity. The Tecnomar for Lamborghini 63, a high-end collaboration between the Italian supercar brand and The Italian Sea Group, is only built to accommodate five guests and two crew. Still, the perilous mishap didn't spoil the rest of the Miami girls' getaway. Later that day, Lauren shared more clips from a lively event at Jungle Island, showing the group partying on — seemingly unfazed by the near disaster. The boat trip was part of the glitzy Formula 1 Miami Grand Prix weekend — a star-studded, three-day racing event that draws sports fans and celebrities alike to the Magic City. That evening, A-listers including NFL star Patrick Mahomes and his wife Brittany were spotted enjoying a VIP Carbone Beach party, where they were seen mingling backstage with rapper and singer Jelly Roll, who later performed at the exclusive bash.

Porsche's $600,000 Electric Speedboat Uses Macan EV Powertrain

Read the full story on Modern Car Collector is taking its high-performance expertise to the water with the unveiling of the 850 Fantom Air, a sleek and powerful built in collaboration with Frauscher Boats. What makes this vessel unique is that it shares a nearly identical powertrain with Porsche's upcoming Macan EV, delivering a thrilling 536-horsepower experience on the open water. With a price tag of $600,000, the 28.4-foot (8.67-meter) speedboat merges cutting-edge automotive technology with refined nautical craftsmanship. Its electric powertrain produces 400 kW (536 hp), allowing for a cruising speed of 24 knots (45 km/h) while maintaining a level of efficiency and quiet operation that traditional fuel-powered boats struggle to match. Despite its 6,170-pound (2,800-kg) weight, the 850 Fantom Air remains impressively agile. The influence of Porsche's automotive design is immediately evident in the 850 Fantom Air. The cockpit features a 15-inch infotainment screen and a Porsche steering wheel, reminiscent of the Macan EV's interior. The sleek white exterior is complemented by nautical-grade teak wood elements, balancing sportiness with a refined luxury aesthetic. This latest collaboration between an automaker and a boat manufacturer follows a growing trend of high-performance car brands entering the marine industry. Porsche's entry into the space follows similar ventures by Lamborghini, which introduced the Tecnomar for Lamborghini 63, and Brabus, known for its Shadow 900 speedboats. While $600,000 is a steep price, it's worth noting that in today's world of elite supercars, that sum no longer guarantees ownership of the highest-end models. For Porsche enthusiasts who want to extend their passion for the brand from the road to the water, the 850 Fantom Air presents a new frontier of electric performance.
