Girls wrestling state champs top Section Five Best
Peyton Mullin and Teegan Kibble not only won titles at the first ever official girls wrestling state championships, both did so after undefeated girls wrestling seasons.
The two state champs head up a group of high school achievers that includes a state wrestling title of his own from Zane Kropman. Midlakes bowler Alivia Miller won sectionals with a three-game and six-game series that every other sectional bowler, male or female. Aden Brown's thievery in a double-overtime thriller against McQuaid helped Pittsford hockey to a sectional title. Finally, Simon Kowal led Victor to a sectional final win with a hat trick… in the second period.
It's all part of another Section Five Best.
