Terengganu PAS apologises for jalur Gemilang error in event logo
PETALING JAYA: Terengganu PAS has issued a public apology for a Jalur Gemilang error used in the Teguh Memimpin Terengganu (TMT) 2025 logo. The programme's secretariat earlier withdrew the logo and released an updated version. They openly apologised to the public and supporters for the mistake and said they took immediate action to remedy the situation. "The secretariat of the TMT 2025 gathering would like to express our utmost appreciation and thanks for the feedback from various parties regarding the 'teaser' logo design. "We would like to extend an open apology to the public and supporters for the oversight and have taken immediate action to withdraw its use," it said. It noted that the corrected version of the TMT 2025 logo had been released and would be used in all future promotional materials and official announcements. Last week, PAS began promoting the TMT gathering scheduled to take place in Kemaman, Terengganu from May 29 to 31. The logo featured the Jalur Gemilang on the left, the PAS logo in the middle and the Terengganu flag on the right. However, the logo was criticised for depicting only an 11-pointed yellow star and 12 red-and-white stripes. The Jalur Gemilang should have a 14-pointed star with 14 red-and-white stripes, symbolising the 13 states in the federation plus the federal territories. The latest blunder came in the wake of other errors since last month when the Jalur Gemilang was depicted with various inaccuracies.

Terengganu Pas apologises for Jalur Gemilang logo blunder
KUALA LUMPUR: Terengganu Pas has issued a public apology over a controversial teaser logo for the Teguh Memimpin Terengganu (TMT) 2025 Gathering, which featured incomplete points on the star of the Jalur Gemilang. The event's secretariat said it had retracted the logo and released an updated version. "We would like to offer an open apology to the public and supporters for the unintentional mistake, and have taken immediate action to withdraw the use of the logo. "The corrected version of the TMT 2025 logo has since been released and will be used in all future promotional materials and official announcements," it said in a statement. Late last week, Pas began circulating posters promoting the Teguh Memimpin Terengganu Gathering, scheduled to take place in Kemaman from May 29 to 31. The logo featured the Jalur Gemilang on the left, the Pas logo in the centre, and the Terengganu flag on the right. However, the logo was criticised for depicting only an 11-pointed yellow star and 12 alternating red and white stripes. The Jalur Gemilang should consist of 14 points and 14 stripes, representing the 13 states of the Malaysian Federation and the Federal Territories.
