12-year-old airlifted after suspected shark bite
COCOA BEACH, Fla. (WFLA)— A 12-year-old was airlifted to a hospital after a suspected shark bite at Cocoa Beach, NBC affiliate WESH said.
The Brevard County Fire Rescue responded to the 2000 block of East Cocoa Beach Causeway around 12:30 p.m.

'I looked up and I saw a double red flag which means no swim, which usually means there's been a shark bite, or something along those lines,' Teresa Northup said.
WESH said the 12-year-old boy was airlifted to a trauma center in Orlando for emergency care.
