Augusta man charged with Rape after Facebook meet-up turns violent, police say
AUGUSTA, Ga. (WJBF) – An Augusta woman reported to Richmond county Sheriff's Deputies that a man she met on Facebook raped her.
According to incident reports, the alleged crime happened April 18th at the woman's home on Lyman Street.
She said the suspect, identified as Terrance McClain, was sitting on the foot of her bed while she was sitting near the headboard. When McClain attempted to touch her she allegedly told him she was not having sex with him. He reportedly became aggressive, grabbed the woman by the throat, and pulled her clothes off. She said she told himself to stop as he rammed himself inside of her.
The victim told police that McClain was so intoxicated he urinated in her and on her bed.
Terrance McClain is charged with Rape and remains in the Richmond County Jail.
