Cambridgeshire Police has confirmed today that the driver of the car died after the collision. The busy stretch of road is reported to typically see at least 20,000 vehicles pass through each day. While it is not yet clear how the crash unfolded, the double-decker bus could be seen lying in a field next to the road with a smashed windscreen.
