Texas voucher debate: Families share views in crucial week 'It's really, really important to take the time to look around and see who's just really investing heavily into good journalism, from the daily reporting that people rely on just to know, you know, what to expect on a given day to the in-depth kind of investigative accountability journalism that, that so many stations do,' Rodriguez said. While several large and medium markets dominated their category, KFDX, for small markets, was nominated for 10 awards and took home eight by the end of the night. KFDX's general manager, Wayne Reed, said this is a big recognition for our station. 'I am so proud of this team. It's so great to see our work be honored by the Texas Association of Broadcasters. I know we work hard each and every day. Our greatest asset is our people. And I cannot be more proud that the Texas Association of Broadcasters has chosen to recognize this hard work,' Reed said.
