Texas Family Initiative hosts event to attract foster parents
WICHITA FALLS (KFDX/KJTL) — The Texas Family Initiative is holding an event on Saturday, April 12, for those interested in becoming foster parents or learning about the process.

TFI said it is not a complicated process, although you must be 21 years of age to apply and have an income. You do not have to be married, can be retired.
There is a dire need for foster parents not just in Texoma but in the entire state of Texas. At least 200 children in Texoma are displaced and need a place to go.
Pizza in the Park will be held on Saturday, April 12, from 10 a.m. to noon at the Inclusive Community Playground on 4400 Callfield Road.
