Reason Peter Crouch considered naming baby with Abbey Clancy after Divock Origi
Peter Crouch and model wife Abbey Clancy's fourth child, Jack, is celebrating his sixth birthday, though the pair's youngest almost jokingly shared a name with ex-Liverpool ace Divock Origi Peter Crouch once joked that his youngest son with wife Abbey Clancy, Jack, would be named after former Liverpool striker Divock Origi. The couple welcomed their youngest into the world in 2019, days after two of Crouch's former teams, Tottenham and Liverpool, went head-to-head in the Champions League final. Crouch and Clancy's family grew six years ago with the birth of their second son, Jack, who became the couple's fourth child. Eldest Sophia was born in 2011, with daughter Liberty and son Johnny arriving in the years to come. The naming of Crouch's son, who turns six this Tuesday, was subject to witticisms from the former England striker, who previously claimed that he and his wife Clancy were considering calling him Samrat, after his favourite curry house. With the Champions League final contested close to Jack's birth, Crouch also couldn't help but exercise his renowned sense of humour as he took to social media to announce his son's arrival on June 3 2019, revealing a hilarious ode to one of the showpiece's stars, Origi. Posting on X, Crouch shared a picture of his newborn son with the caption reading in jest: "Our beautiful baby boy was born Monday 3rd June, mother and baby Divock Samrat Crouch are doing well." Crouch, who played 135 times for Liverpool and made almost 100 appearances for Tottenham, had clearly tuned into the final of UEFA's elite club competition two days prior, when his two former employers battled. The momentous occasion in Madrid was shaken up in just 106 seconds as a penalty was given to the Reds after a handball by Spurs' Moussa Sissoko. Mohamed Salah duly converted the spot kick, and the final simply went through the motions until the 87th minute, when Belgian striker Origi arrived to seal the match, which would end 2-0. Crouch's tribute to the final's second goalscorer was short-lived, and he soon clarified to his followers: "Our boy is beautiful the name is still to be clarified unfortunately Abs not going for Divock Samrat." In March, Crouch revealed that bookies were taking bets on what his child would be called and added that Samrat was potentially being considered. "One of the bookies is taking bets on names for my little one. Harry is top," said Crouch on his That Peter Crouch Podcast. "And at 100/1 was Samrat. "I've had a good few people saying, 'You've got to do it' - Samrat Crouch. It's genuinely 100/1... it does work, because you'd just call him Sam. Shane is actually bigger odds than Samrat." Crouch was then asked: "[And] Abbey would be all right with that, wouldn't she?" to which he replied, slightly tongue in cheek: "She'd be all right with it, yeah." After the birth of Jack, whose name was announced six weeks after birth, Crouch was asked by OK! whether he wished to have more children with his wife Clancy, and swiftly replied: "God no! [Laughs] Don't ever have four. It was a ridiculous decision – one that I love and wouldn't change for the world – but it's tough."

Rod Stewart Confirms Faces Reunion With Ronnie Wood For Glastonbury 2025 Slot
As anticipation builds for surprise appearances at Glastonbury 2025, Sir Rod Stewart has confirmed that Ronnie Wood will join him for a Faces reunion during his Legends set. In a new interview on That Peter Crouch Podcast, Stewart explained that he was still in regular contact with the Rolling Stones guitarist. The pair were previously bandmates in the late '60s/early '70s blues rock band, alongside drummer Kenney Jones. 'Woody, I do [speak to] a lot,' the 79-year-old said. 'Just recently, 'cause we're gonna do Glastonbury together.' You can listen to the podcast in full here. But I can see it coming out next year,' he continued. 'Everyone's doing different things. We do little snippets [of recording] here and there. Then all of a sudden, The Stones are out [on tour] again, Rod's out again…' First formed in 1969 through a merger between members of Small Faces and the Jeff Beck Group, Faces existed for six years before guitarist Wood left to join the Rolling Stones, and Stewart continued his burgeoning solo career. The group have released four albums, with 1971's A Nod Is As Good As a Wink… to a Blind Horse hitting No. 6 on the Billboard 200. Glastonbury will take place at Worthy Farm, Somerset next month (June 25-29) with headliners The 1975, Neil Young, and Olivia Rodrigo. Stewart last performed at the festival in 2002, topping the bill alongside Coldplay and Stereophonics that year. The 'Maggie May' singer will take to the Pyramid Stage on Sunday afternoon for the Legends slot – one of the most coveted in the festival's history. Previous bookings have included Dolly Parton, Johnny Cash, Lionel Richie, Kylie Minogue and Diana Ross, with Shania Twain performing in the Legends slot in 2024. Shortly after he was announced for this year's event, Stewart said he was 'proud, ready and more than able to pleasure and titillate my friends at Glastonbury.' He was the first name to be confirmed for Glastonbury 2025, which sold out in under an hour last autumn following the introduction of a new online queuing system. 2025's edition will mark the final event to take place at Worthy Farm before the traditional fallow year in 2026, which sees the landowner Michael Eavis and his family allow the grounds to recover every four years. The festival will return again in 2027. New Glastonbury map reveals big changes for 2025
The new Glastonbury 2025 map has been revealed, and here are the major changes you need to know about. Sleeping bags, tents and hunter wellies are at the ready as the biggest UK music festival is fast approaching. Ahead of the Worthy Farm festival, the headline acts have been announced with British pop band The 1975, folk rock star Neil Young and US pop singer Olivia Rodrigo all taking major spots in the lineup. The festival has now released the new maps for the festival, which show there are some subtle but important changes that show how the farm is mapped out for the event. The Other Stage capacity has been extended, meaning the crowd capacity will be much larger. Levels, the dance music area in Silver Hayes, which will host Groove Armada this year, has increased. As has the Dragonfly (previously known as Arcadia), the Glade, and Lonely Hearts Club. Camping-wise, there are some shrinking and others growing. Oxylers campsite has halved, South Park 2 has also shrunk as has Pennard Hill, and the indoor stage The Assembly which was introduced just last year. Shangri-La has introduced a new area, Dragon's Tail, which includes a bar. There is also now more public camping space in Pylon Ground, and two new toilet blocks at Park Hill. Glastonbury is set on Worthy Farm with a capacity of 210,000 festival-goers. The festival is around 900 to 1,000 acres, which is pretty massive and difficult to visualise. This is around the equivalent of 500 full-size football pitches, and at it's widest point it's around 1.5miles in length. The entire festival is surrounded by an 8 km perimeter fence. FRIDAY On Friday, headlining the festival is The 1975. Also performing that day is: Loyle Carter, Busta Rhymes, Biffy Clyro, Alanis Morissette, The Blossoms, CMAT, and Fatboy Slim, among many other names. SATURDAY Saturday will see Neil Young headline, with Charli XCX, Raye, Doechii, Ezra Collective, Deftones, Kneecap, Scissor Sisters, and the Kaiser Chiefs also performing. SUNDAY Sunday will see Olivia Rodrigo perform with Rod Stewart in the legends slot. Other acts performing that day include: Noah Kahan, Jorja Smith, The Libertines, Snow Patrol, and The Prodigy. The excitement for the festival is growing with Rod Stewart confirming that he will be joined by a special guest on stage, his former Faces bandmate Ronnie Wood. More Trending He was asked on That Peter Crouch Podcast whether he was in touch with other The Rolling Stones' members and 'other people in music'. Sir Rod replied: 'Not really. Woody (Wood) I do a lot, just recently, because we're going to do Glastonbury together. 'Elton, sometimes, you know, birthdays, but nowhere near how we used to, I think probably because he doesn't drink anymore, and Woody doesn't drink, and I still do. They stay away from me. Bad influence.' Got a story?
