Ahead of F1, Brad Pitt calls this former co-star ‘annoyingly good' at racing: ‘He is just a natural at everything he does'
With F1 the movie right around the corner, actor Brad Pitt has put the pedal to the metal when it comes to promotions. Pitt, who isn't really known for giving long interviews, let alone making appearances on a podcast, showed up on actor Dave Shepard's show The Armchair Expert. Pitt touched on several topics, including addiction, recovery, F1, early career and future plans. But what Brad was most excited about was his love for motor sports in general, and he shared several anecdotes about his racing hobby, including one of racing bikes with actor Channing Tatum. Pitt and Dave can be seen completely digressing from what they were talking about, as they both started 'nerding out' about racing and how Pitt very graciously offered to fly Dave to the last racing event they had. Dave said, 'I remember you suddenly asking me after an AA meeting whether I was going to the tracks or not, and then you offered to fly me there in your helicopter.' Pitt dodged the compliment and said that he is glad that he gets to do 'rock and roll' things like that once in a while. I wasn't as quick as some of these guys, like Channing.' To which Dave said, 'Let the record also reflect that Brad is also very quick and Channing was just annoyingly good very quickly. He is just one of those athletes who can do everything and is just a natural.' The duo also talked about Toto Wolff, who is the CEO of Mercedes's Formula One team, and how he talks about Lewis Hamilton also being a natural at everything he does. It's definitely high praise, coming from someone like Pitt, who has actually driven an F1 car and has been appreciated for his racing skills by the one and only Tom Cruise. During the CinemaCon earlier this year, Cruise expressed his excitement for F1 and recalled working with Pitt on the movie Interview With The Vampire (1994). 'It's great to see Brad driving; he's a very good driver, believe me. I have raced against him. When we were doing Interview With The Vampire, we used to go and race go-karts against each other. We would finish and then go race go-karts all night, and he was a hell of a driver.' It seems that Pitt will get to see more of Channing on the motorbike, as the duo are reportedly collaborating on a docu-series about one of the most dangerous races of all time, the Isle of Man TT. F1 has been directed by Joseph Kosinski, and the cast includes Pitt, Javier Bardem, Damson Idris, Kerry Condon and Lewis Hamilton. Pitt will play the role of a veteran driver who returns to Formula One and teams up with a rookie (Idris) to save his old friend's (Bardem) team. The film also features music from aristes like Ed Sheeran, BLACKPINK, Chris Stapleton, Doja Cat and more. It releases worldwide on June 27.

Dax Shepard Explained The Super Awkward Conversation He Had With His 10-Year-Old Daughter About Sabrina Carpenter's Super Raunchy Song 'Juno'
It looks like Sabrina Carpenter 's Short N' Sweet album has been raising some awkward conversations between parents and kids — even in celebrity households. In case you've missed it, Sabrina 's currently on the Europe leg of her tour, and her performances (along with her immaculate outfits) are going mega-viral. Not the least of which is one feature of her shows that changes every night — the famous 'Juno' pose. For reference, the song 'Juno' features a moment in live performances when Sabrina acts out a sex position while singing, 'Have you ever tried this one?' While each pose on the tour has been pretty risqué, her recent few have definitely raised some eyebrows. Fans have spotted that Sabrina seems to be making references to cities she performs in, with a London Bridge pose in the UK and the recent Paris pose making a naughty reference to the Eiffel Tower. While Sabrina has definitely faced lots of backlash from scandalized parents who deem her performances 'inappropriate' for a young audience, she also receives huge support online for her unapologetic nature when it comes to embracing her sexuality. Despite it all, there is still a huge debate online as to where the fault lies when parents criticize her provocative lyrics and dances — with many folks suggesting that it's up to the parents to police what their kids engage with. Now, in a recent episode of The Armchair Expert podcast, Dax Shepard, his co-host Monica Padman, and guest Andrew Schulz chatted about his and his daughter's shared love of Sabrina — revealing that they wound up having a pretty awkward conversation when she asked about 'Juno.' Talking about how he recently has become a Sabrina super fan, Dax shared that his favorite song of hers is 'Bed Chem,' and that he and his 10-year-old daughter, Delta, 'listen to it every morning' on the way to school. 'It's really fun now that I love her favorite artist. It's fun for her. Because now I'm on the Sabrina train,' Dax explained. Monica pointed out that Sabrina 'gets sexy,' saying that 'there's some real sexual stuff' in her music. 'Juno is sexual,' she added after Dax shared that Delta recommended the song to him. Dax then recalled that he and Delta were, in fact, having a conversation about the meaning of 'Juno' recently. As the two were discussing the song, Delta apparently asked Dax if he knew what 'Juno' was, to which he hesitantly responded, 'No.' Searchlight Pictures / Fox For context, Sabrina's 'Juno' is in reference to the 2007 film of the same name starring Elliot Page and Michael Cera. The movie centers around a 16-year-old named Juno MacGuff dealing with an unexpected pregnancy, and Sabrina's lyrics 'If you love me right then who knows? / I might let you make me Juno,' are pretty clear in their implication. While there was speculation that 'Juno' also referred to the Roman goddess Juno, patron of marriage and childbirth, Sabrina confirmed in an interview with Spotify that she was only making reference to the movie. Delta explained, 'Well, it's a movie,' to which Dax responded, 'Oh, the movie Juno? Yeah, I know.' Delta then confirmed that the movie is about a 'girl who gets pregnant,' before Dax said, 'Ooh, that's a little nasty.' Delta apparently then asked, 'What's nasty about wanting to have a baby with somebody?' to which Dax had to explain that Juno was still in high school, which made the story a little 'racy' in their eyes. Recalling the conversation, Dax remembered: 'And the way she phrased it was like, 'Wait, what's nasty about wanting to have a baby with someone you love?' And I was like, 'Oh no, there's nothing nasty about that, I'm just saying, 'I wanna get pregnant in high school' is kind of a nasty, fun lyric. It's a positive nasty, I'm saying.'' Dax has shared that he and his wife, Kristen Bell, are pretty open with their kids when it comes to speaking about sex. The couple previously made headlines when opening up about their approach to discussing more mature topics with their daughters. In a 2023 issue of Real Simple, Kristen shared that there are no 'taboo' topics in their household. 'I hate the word 'taboo.' I think it should be stricken from the dictionary. There should be no topic that's off the table for people to talk about,' she said. 'I know it's shocking, but I talk to my kids about drugs, and the fact that their daddy is an addict and he's in recovery. And we talk about sex.'
