Bridgerton Earns Early Renewal for Seasons 5 and 6 — Plus, Watch a Season 4 Sneak Peek

Lady Whistledown is delivering a piece of good news: Netflix has renewed Bridgerton for Seasons 5 and 6 ahead of Season 4's debut. The streamer announced the super-sized renewal during Wednesday's Upfront presentation, where Netflix also released a sneak peek for the forthcoming fourth season, which will premiere in 2026. (Watch video above.) More from TVLine Yellowjackets Renewed for Season 4 The Bear Season 4 Trailer Reveals Fallout After Carmy and Syd Receive Damning Restaurant Review The Last of Us Boss Hints at Season 4: 'There's No Way to Complete This Narrative' in Upcoming Third Season The eight-episode Season 4 centers on Benedict (played by Luke Thompson), the bohemian second son in the Bridgerton family, and a mysterious Lady in Silver (Halo's Yerin Ha). 'Despite his elder and younger brothers both being happily married, Benedict is loath to settle down — until he meets a captivating woman at his mother's masquerade ball,' per the official logline. Though her identity is not at first known to Benedict, the woman turns out to be Sophie Baek, a secretive maid with big dreams. The Julia Quinn adaptation first hinted at Sophie's arrival in the Season 3 finale, when Eloise mentioned her mother Violet's forthcoming masquerade ball. Benedict noted his RSVP for the event, telling his sister, 'I will be there, hiding out behind a mask, avoiding eligible ladies like the plague.' (As if!) Bridgerton Season 4: Everything We Know View List As previously reported, the fourth season has cast Katie Leung (the Harry Potter franchise, The Peripheral) as Lady Araminta Gun, a widower with two girls making their debuts; Michelle Mao (Goosebumps) as Rosamund Li, Araminta's eldest daughter and most prized possession; and Isabella Wei (The Crow) as Posy Li, Rosamund's chatty younger sister. Meanwhile, Emma Naomi, who plays Alice Mondrich, and Hugh Sachs, who plays Brimsley, have been upgraded to series regulars. Although Benedict and Sophie's romance occurs in the third installment of Quinn's wildly popular book series, Season 3 skipped that romance to focus on Colin (Luke Newton) and Penelope (Nicola Coughlan). The latter's friends-to-lovers arc, which wrapped during Part 2 in June 2024, resulted in a marriage and a male heir. A Handmaid's Tale Casualty Breaks Down the ‘Slightly Telepathic' Moment Right Before [Spoiler]'s Death

The Handmaid's Tale One of the most enigmatic — and frustrating — characters in The Handmaid's Tale met his end in this week's episode. More from TVLine Save the Dates: Sterling K. Brown's Washington Black Premiere, New Dora Movie and More The Handmaid's Tale Kills Three Major Characters in Last Episode Before Series Finale - Read Recap The Bear Season 4 Trailer Reveals Fallout After Carmy and Syd Receive Damning Restaurant Review Nick Blaine was killed when his plane blew up, courtesy of a bomb that High Commander Lawrence placed in order to kill a bunch of Gilead leaders. A shocked June watched as the explosion, which also ended the lives of Lawrence and High Commander Wharton, lit up the skies over Boston. (Read a full episode recap here.) Nick, played by Max Minghella, started the series as the Waterfords' driver but ascended to commander over the course of six seasons. His relationship with Elisabeth Moss' June was a complicated matter that involved fathering one of her children, assisting her efforts to escape from/bring down Gilead and then betraying her at a crucial point in the rebellion. When I spoke with Minghella about that relationship-ending duplicity earlier this season, we also discussed Nick's final moments. And now that his alter ego has been killed on-screen, I'm able to share. Read on for Minghella's thoughts on his last scenes in the series, which will come to its conclusion next week. TVLINE | In Episode 9, Nick is getting on the plane, and he pauses, but he does not see June hiding in the hangar. Did you guys shoot a version where they make eye contact?MAX MINGHELLA | No, we we didn't. But it's definitely supposed to be a moment of, like sort of a slightly telepathic moment. There's a word — I'm not smart enough to know what the word is. [Laughs] But human beings can actually sense when they're being watched, like we actually do sort of have eyes in the back of our heads. So I think that's all it is. It's a sense, a presence. I thought it was a really interesting idea from Lizzie (Moss, who directed the episode) to do that. TVLINE | When did you know that Nick wasn't going to make it out of the series alive?Well, you know what? Normally on The Handmaid's Tale, I don't have any idea what's going to happen episode to episode. I've always been quite happy to be blind to it and go with the flow. This year, I happened to work on a project with Lizzie in between seasons. [Editor's note: The project was Shell, a comedic horror film that Minghella directed and in which Moss starred.] So we were together a lot, and just from hanging out, I ended up hearing a lot of it. So this year, I did sort of know quite a lot of the arc of the character. But it was just circumstantial — it wasn't for any other reason. TVLINE | No spoilers here, but before the series ends, a character tells June that Nick would've chosen her if he ever had a choice. I'm interested in what you think of relationship to June is the only sunshine in his life, and it's his motive for everything. And so, I think that's absolutely right. Got thoughts on Nick's death? ‘The Bear' season 4 trailer: Carmy and Sydney fight to save the restaurant

FX has released the official trailer for The Bear Season 4, and it's a high-stakes return for Carmy (Jeremy Allen White) and Sydney (Ayo Edebiri). The new trailer shows a pressure-filled kitchen where time is running out—literally. Cicero (Oliver Platt), who bankrolls the fine dining restaurant, installs a countdown clock and warns Carmy that once it hits zero, funding will dry up. Premiering all 10 episodes on June 25, The Bear Season 4 picks up after the restaurant's chaotic launch in Season 3. The team must overcome new challenges as they try to stabilize their fine-dining venture, formerly known as The Beef. Carmy is still chasing perfection, Richie (Ebon Moss-Bachrach) works on repairing personal relationships, and Sydney faces a career-defining decision as a rival offer tempts her away. The show continues to blend fast-paced kitchen drama with emotional character arcs, earning a devoted fanbase and critical acclaim. Returning cast members include Lionel Boyce, Liza Colón-Zayas, Abby Elliott, and Matty Matheson, with guest appearances from stars like Jon Bernthal and Molly Gordon. As the restaurant teeters on the brink of collapse, The Bear promises another intense and emotionally charged season. THE BEAR Season 4 Serves Up Its Premiere Date and Here's When You Can Dig In — GeekTyrant

FX has announced the release date for The Bear Season 4, and fans won't have to wait long. All ten episodes are set to hit Hulu on Wednesday, June 25 at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT, and they're dropping all at once. Time to clear your schedule and prep your snacks because Carmy and the crew are back in the kitchen. Season 4 picks up with Carmen 'Carmy' Berzatto (Jeremy Allen White), Sydney (Ayo Edebiri), and Richie (Ebon Moss-Bachrach) pushing hard to level up their restaurant game. After turning their humble sandwich shop into a fine dining spot, they're now aiming even higher, but that means even more chaos, pressure, and very likely, a few kitchen meltdowns. The ensemble cast includes Abby Elliott, Lionel Boyce, Liza Colón-Zayas, and Matty Matheson who all return, while Oliver Platt and Molly Gordon continue their recurring roles. These characters have become the show's heart, and watching them adapt, grow, and clash in pursuit of culinary greatness is half the fun. Behind the scenes, series creator Christopher Storer is still at the helm as executive producer alongside Joanna Calo, Josh Senior, Cooper Wehde, Tyson Bidner, Hiro Murai, Matty Matheson, and Rene Gube. FX Productions continues to back the series, which has become one of the most emotionally-charged and genuinely addictive shows on TV. No plot details have been spilled beyond the central trio's relentless pursuit of perfection, but given the track record, expect high stakes, raw emotion, and maybe a few unexpected guests. The Bear doesn't play it safe, and that's exactly why we keep coming back to watch it. So, mark your calendar, sharpen your knives, and get ready. Season 4 is almost here, and if past seasons are anything to go by, it's going to bring the heat.
