Departed RTE star Joe Duffy suffered a drop for his last set of figures with Liveline, down 8,000 to 299,000. Matching Oliver Callan, also on 299,000 who was down 1,000 listeners. Morning Ireland remains the most listened to radio show in Ireland with 469,000 tuning in, down 2,000. There were drops on 2FM with Doireann Garrihy losing 8,000 listeners to her Drivetime Show, which now has 125,00 tuning in. Other weekday drops included The Breakfast show down 9,000 listeners to 139,000, Laura Fox down 5,000 to 122,000 and Tracey Clifford down 1,000 to 110,000 But new weekend hosts fared better with Weekend Afternoon with Demi and Mikey up 5,000 to 127,000 on Saturdays, and up 9,000 to 127,000 on Sundays. And Weekend Drive with Emma and Graham up 9,000 on Saturday to 112,000. DAYTIME GAINS While 2fm daytime struggled, rivals Today FM enjoyed daytime gains with Ian Dempsey up, 9,000 to 213,000. Dave Moore up 5,000 to 198,000, Louise Cantillon up 12,000 to 119,000, Ray Foley up 6,000 to 159,000 and Matt Cooper's Last Word up 18,000 to 181,000. Over on Newstalk Kieran Cuddihy was the big winner with 12,000 new listeners to his Hard Shoulder programme with 165,000 tuning in. Pat Kenny was down 8,000 listeners to 216,000, Andrea Gilligan down 10,000 to 124,000. No change to Sean Moncrief, at 108,000 or Newstalk Breakfast with no change on their 165,000 listeners Over on RTE Lyric FM Marty Whelan added 4,000 listeners with 75,000 tuning in with Classic Drive with Lorcan Murray up 5,000 listeners to 64,000. For the fourth year running, Armed Forces personnel and veterans will be able to claim their free breakfast in more than 300 stores to mark Armed Forces Day. The day itself is an annual event celebrated in late June to commemorate the service of men and women in the British Armed Forces. Originally called Veterans' Day, it was first observed in 2006. Although an official event, it is not a public holiday in the UK. The name was changed to Armed Forces Day in 2009. Tesco has confirmed that as a thank you for their service, approximately 180,000 serving Armed Forces personnel and nearly two million veterans in the UK can choose from The Breakfast, The Veggie Breakfast, The Vegan Breakfast or Sausage Bap to enjoy for free when they present their MOD90 or Veterans ID card at either The Café or The Coffee Shop in stores across the country on Sunday, June 29. Croissant candles and baguette bags in Cote's first ever home collection
Côte Brasserie is launching its first-ever homewares collection, created in partnership with French lifestyle brand La Redoute Interieurs. The announcement comes as Côte also reveals its latest seasonally inspired Spring Specials in restaurants and with Côte at Home. There are 12 pieces, split into two ranges: The Breakfast Collection and Le Marché Collection - from croissant-print tote bags and breakfast candles to table linens inspired by the colours of seasonal produce.
