Saturday, check out Earth Fest 2025, a free event with scores of vendors at McCook Point Park. Find music, food and fun activities for the kids. Take part in the 3rd Annual Dan the Man 5K Run/Walk at the Pistol Creek Trails on Saturday, honoring a local dad and supporting ALS United. Saturday night, see Naruto the Symphonic Experience at the Toyota Oakdale Theater, bringing the beloved anime to life with music and iconic scenes. Enjoy a plant sale and Family Farm Day on Sunday to support Serenity Farm Horse Rescue, a non-profit that rehabilitates horses in crisis. It's called 'Broadway's great big musical comedy' and it's the winner of four Tony awards. Daffodil Festival returns for 45th year in Meriden Both Saturday and Sunday, celebrate spring at the Meriden Daffodil Festival with musical entertainment, kids rides, a fun parade, arts and crafts and a food tent. Arrive hungry to A Taste of Greece, a two-day food festival at St. Barbara Greek Orthodox Church with authentic homemade delicacies from appetizers to desserts. Lake Compounce opens Saturday for it's 179th season, celebrating roller coaster upgrades and new entertainment. The whole family will enjoy food and rides! All weekend, the young kids will really love to take a ride on Thomas the Tank Engine on his Party Tour courtesy of Essex Steam Train and Riverboat, with fun family activities. Saturday, bring the kids out to the 57th Annual Children's Trout Derby at the Milford Duck Pond, open to all kids age 15 and under. Find prizes, contests and raffles.
