CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – There are plenty of Easter events happening around the Lowcountry this weekend, from brunch at The Charleston Place to the Hat Ladies of Charleston's annual Easter stroll, or Easter beach party at Charleston Harbor Resort and Marina. There will also be plenty of community Easter egg hunts happening across the Lowcountry. Glow Egg Hunt at Central Creek Park – Goose Creek Goose Creek will host a TEEN Egg Hunt glow party at Central Creek Park. The event is intended for teens aged 13-17, and it will include music, food trucks, and a glowing egg hunt. It's a free community event, but guests are encouraged to bring their own flashlights. The 'Glow Egg Hunt' begins at 7 p.m. on Friday, April 18, and ends at 9 p.m. Pawleys Island Easter Celebration – Pawleys Island The Town of Pawleys Island will host an Easter celebration on April 19 at Pawleys Pavilion Park (323 Myrtle Ave.). Festivities include an Easter egg hunt for all ages, cookies, and a visit from the Easter Bunny. It begins at 2 p.m. and will end when all of the eggs have been found. Eggventure community egg hunt – Summerville A community egg hunt will be held at McKissick Field (900 John McKissick Way) from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m. Children aged 2-10 are invited to participate. There will be games, food, crafts, and other Easter-themed activities. Don't forget to bring your basket! Egg the Courthouse Lawn – Colleton County Courthouse – Walterboro The inaugural 'Egg the Courthouse Lawn' Easter egg hunt will take place at the Colleton County Courthouse on April 19. Organizers say the hunt, featuring over 2,000 eggs stuffed with toys and candy, will begin at 10 a.m. and continue until all eggs are found. Wild Dunes Resort – Isle of Palms Hop over to Wild Dunes Resort for their Easter morning brunch and an egg hunt. You'll need to make reservations first. Copyright 2025 Nexstar Media, Inc. The Charleston Place hosting Easter Eggstravaganza

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – The Charleston Place will hold its Easter Eggstravaganza this weekend with children's activities, live bunnies, and a lavish brunch. Festivities will begin Saturday morning, when guests will be able to take pictures with the Easter Bunny and pet live bunnies, chicks, and ducks. There will also be a 'build-your-own-bouquet' flower bar for purchase. Activities will begin at 11 a.m. Charleston area churches to hold Easter sunrise services 'We are so excited to host our magical Easter celebrations again this year for locals and guests,' said Becky Hubbard, Managing Director, The Charleston Place. 'At The Charleston Place, we love celebrating holidays and creating moments for people to connect and share memorable experiences, whether it's enjoying an over-the-top brunch in The Palmetto Cafe or participating in our complimentary family-friendly activities in the Market Street Circle courtyard.' Guests and locals can enjoy afternoon tea with the Easter Bunny on Sunday at 11 a.m., featuring pastries, savory bites, and the hotel's custom tea blend, the Palmetto Peach. The bunny will be hopping around for photo opportunities during the day. Finally, on both days, the Palmetto Café will host its popular Easter brunch with stations serving pimento cheese grits, stuffed lamb loin, oysters, and grilled local Mahi Mahi. There will also be an assortment of freshly-baked treats, including Challah Bread French Toast, chocolate croissants, and 'Jimmy Red' cornbread.
