Comedian Wanda Sykes and special guest to perform at Riverdome in Bossier City
BOSSIER CITY, La. (KTAL/KMSS) — Actor and comedian Wanda Sykes will be performing in Bossier City.
Sykes, known for her comedic style in film and television, will be in the area for her Please & Thank You Comedy Tour along with special guest Keith Robinson. Sykes has a long-standing career that spans several decades. The comedian first received recognition for her work on The Chris Rock Show, which earned her a Primetime Emmy Award in 1997. In 2004, Entertainment Weekly also named her one of the 25 funniest people in America.

Sykes has appeared in several projects, including 'Monster-in-Law,' starring Jane Fonda and Jennifer Lopez. She also starred in 'Over the Edge,' 'Ice Age: Continental Drift,' 'Black-ish,' and Netflix's 'The Upshaws.' Before entering the entertainment industry, Sykes worked for the National Security Agency (NSA) for several years as a contracting specialist.
