Shreve Memorial Library partners with local artists for summer reading program
SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS) — Local artists are partnering with Shreve Memorial Library for the 'Color Our World' summer reading program.
Support children's hospitals through 'Spark Good' health campaign
The 'Color Our World' program offers library patrons the opportunity to explore the world through art. Local artists Karen LaBeau, Marci Hicks, Christena Francis, and Whitney Tates, along with representatives from The Clayground, will lead a variety of arts and crafts workshops. This month's workshops will focus on painting, jewelry making, and ceramics and will take place at several library branches throughout Caddo Parish. All programs are free to attend; however, spaces are limited, and registration is required.
Additional workshops led by the artists and The Clayground will be held in July. Visit for a complete list of workshops and their times.
