Award-winning north country winery up for sale
CLAYTON, N.Y. (WWTI) – An award-winning north country winery is going up for sale.
In a post from their Facebook page, Coyote Moon Winery has announced that it's going up for sale. The post said it was one of the hardest decisions the business has ever had to make.
New bill could allow for sale of wine at New York grocery stores
The Clayton-based winery first opened 16 years ago in June. 'In that time, we've hosted too many events to count and shared even more memories with all of you,' the announcement said.
The post added that Coyote Moon will remain open 'and continue making and selling your favorite wine with our regular business hours at our East Line Road location.'
The Christian and the Coyote Tacos & Tings restaurant will also be open from May 30 through the end of September.
The winery added that a number of events will go on this summer. The list includes:
Sunday Flea Markets (June through September)
The Annual Car Show
The Clayton 'Balloons in the Islands' Festival
Wine & Cheese Boat Cruises through the 1,000 Islands
Harvest Festival this Fall
Coyote Moon has won a number of awards, including being a three-time New York State Winery of the Year and has won over 1,000 medals and awards for our handcrafted wines.
The businesses has supported a number of local charities and causes over the last 16 years as well.
The post added 'thank you—truly—for the years of love, support, and unforgettable memories. Come visit us this season, raise a glass, grab a bite from Christian, and help us celebrate everything we've built together.'
