The villas serve as a backdrop to the entire show, providing Islanders with a variety of areas to lounge and chat. Season 7 — which premiered on June 3 — takes place at the same Fijian villa that the previous season of Love Island USA was filmed in. In a May 2025 Entertainment Tonight promo, host Ariana Madix showed off the house's revamped Hideaway, plus a brand-new speakeasy and sauna. "To ensure things get extra-hot this season," she added. So, where has Love Island USA taken place over the years? Here's everything to know about where Love Island USA is filmed. Several seasons of Love Island USA have been filmed in Fiji, including seasons 1, 5, 6 and 7. Arielle Vandenberg, who hosted the show's first three seasons, gave fans a tour of the first-ever villa for the U.S. series in 2019. The house featured 3,000 locally sourced Fijian plants for the gardens, outdoor decks and custom-printed fabrics from Los Angeles, Sydney and Fiji. The Hideaway was designed by Jonathan Adler. Season 5 took place in a different house. In addition to a new "sunset nook," the house featured Love Island villa staples like a heart shower, communal bedroom, private lounge and the firepit, according to a 2023 tour. For the season 6 villa, more than 50 locals worked with the show's production designer to renovate an existing property in Fiji to transform it, per Today. The 50,000 square foot property featured two pools, an updated Hideaway, a ping pong table and more. Season 7 takes place in the same villa. In 2020, Love Island USA's season 2 was hosted stateside due to the pandemic. This time, the Islanders were sequestered in Las Vegas on The Cromwell's rooftop. The show's production designer transformed the hotel into a typical villa, including a fire pit, outdoor gym, pool and sundeck, per CBS News. Season 3 of Love Island USA was still hosted in the United States in 2021, but this time, Islanders were taken to a villa in Hawaii. The season was filmed at Water Falling Estate in Nīnole, Hawaii, per Forbes. The property included two waterfalls and a waterslide, according to Entertainment Tonight. 'It was a wild ride to see the creatives at CBS/Love Island USA turn our typically zen Big Island oasis to a candyland of color, lights, patterns and party energy!' the property's Instagram account posted after the season wrapped up in September 2021. 'I wish we could have kept the fire pit, all of the cool decks & thousands of twinkle lights - but was fun to see what big vision & imagination can create!' Love Island USA season 4 was brought back to the mainland in 2022 for the show's first season on Peacock after moving over from CBS. In July 2022, the Santa Barbara Independent confirmed that the season was filmed at Dos Pueblos Ranch in Santa Barbara, Calif. This Vegas boutique hotel will soon become The Vanderpump
Entrepreneur and reality TV star Lisa Vanderpump is getting into the Las Vegas hotel business. Caesars Entertainment on Wednesday announced a partnership with Vanderpump to overhaul The Cromwell, a boutique hotel at Las Vegas Boulevard and Flamingo Road, turning it into The Vanderpump Hotel. The renovated and rebranded property is expected to debut with its new look in early 2026. While it will be Vanderpump's first foray into hotels, the businesswoman and TV personality has a long history in the hospitality industry, including several projects with Caesars Entertainment in Las Vegas. 'We've had a phenomenal partnership with Lisa, developing three very successful restaurants in Las Vegas,' said Sean McBurney, regional president of Caesars Entertainment, in a news release. 'Now we get to take Lisa's vision and expertise to the next level — infusing her talent and creativity into an entire hotel at the most incredible location on the Las Vegas Strip.' The Cromwell, which is across from Caesars Palace, currently houses celebrity chef Giada De Laurentiis' restaurant GIADA, Bound lobby bar, Interlude casino lounge, Drai's Beachclub and Nightclub, Drai's After Hours and a Caesars Sportsbook. Caesars did not say whether those venues would be affected by the transformation, noting that additional details would be announced as the project progresses. The Cromwell will remain open during its transformation into The Vanderpump Hotel. The new property will have an enhanced hotel reception and front desk area, an all-new lounge, redesigned guest rooms and suites, and a 'fresh, new feel' for the casino floor, according to a news release announcing the project. 'Sexy elegance and comfort' will be at the heart of the redesign, the release said. Vanderpump and her husband, Ken Todd, have been in the restaurant and nightclub business for decades. Vanderpump became more widely known through 'The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' and its spinoff 'Vanderpump Rules.'
